"Did you hear about our car being stolen when it was being shipped here."

Read about Alex Wennberg's stressful and life changing month of March that featured a trade, a new team, a red-eye flight, a new home, a baby and a car that wound up in Indiana.

Wennberg having a tough go of it.

“Worst game of the season”

“They deserved to be booed off the ice”

The list to describe last night goes on and on, yet some of you still justify that troll posting charts saying the Rangers win that game 70% of the time.

Can I scroll past the win’o’meter? Sure.

But it’s when we’re trying to have conversations about players and he uses those same charts that say the Rangers win 70% of the time based off of lasts night game to justify his stance, for the sole purpose of causing problems. The fact so many of you are blind to it is truly amazing to me.

Hi all. Long time reader (on and off since 2008), first time poster. I feel like I know a lot of you pretty well based on reading your comments for many years. I was 8 years old when the Rangers won the Cup in 1994 and remember being so happy. I haven’t been this excited and optimistic about a Rangers team since then.

First off – Jan, I think you are a great blogger and I sincerely appreciate everything you do for this community. To me, you are extremely unbiased and don’t get too high or too low and remain level headed. Objectivity is your greatest strength.

I know the comment section can get heated at times. Unfortunately, it is the actions of a few that bring everyone else down. I promise I will try not to add fuel to the fire. I will make comments and tell people how I think they are acting, but I will try not to engage in any fighting.

Bottom line is this is a public forum, and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Just because someone has an opinion, that does not mean they are dictating how everyone else should feel. We are all individuals that want the same thing – for the Rangers to win the cup. Some of us are optimistic, some of us are pessimistic. That doesn’t mean that any of us will be unhappy if the Rangers win it all.

Tom can be controversial, but who cares if he likes charts and analytics? He still watches the games. Others are right – charts do not impact the game outcome. There are many other factors that impact the outcome of a game. However, they can be useful as a tool to evaluate how the team and certain individuals played. He is expressing how he views the team. Nothing he says or does impacts the decisions the front office makes. You don’t like what he says? Ignore it. Simple.

TJ – you drive me crazy during trade season, and I mean that in a loving way. Not asking you to change, just stating lol. One issue with you is that you say you “hear” something and grasp onto that and take it as fact, when all you did is hear it from another random anonymous poster on a message board for fans of another team. Just because another fan would be OK with their team trading a player does not mean that the other team wants to trade that player. And all your trades involving Goodrow – not sure why you would think he would waive his NTC to go from a top seeded Rangers team to a bottom dwelling Sharks team. Think reasonably my man.

Lastly, Jimbo. I respect your views (as well as everyone else’s that post here). I always appreciated back in the day when you would post everything under the sun related to the Rangers from Twitter. You would literally post it here within a minute (sometimes seconds). I came here to get all my news because you would aggregate it all here for me lol.

But, Jim, you need to take a chill pill. Your feud with Tom ruins the experience here for everyone else. You just can’t let things go. No one says that you have to like charts or agree with anything Tom says. But you act like a child whenever he says anything. He does not attack you, you attack him. Just stop. Please. You get fixated on things and will just not let it die. You also have a tendency to create all these straw man arguments where you take one thing someone said, bend and twist it, and argue against that and hammer it ten feet into the wall. For example, the Panarin Game 7 OT winner you posted the other day that others said they weren’t excited to watch. That is their opinion. No one ever said that you were not able to enjoy that. But you made about 10 posts saying that others said you can’t enjoy that. Bottom line – everyone can have their opinions. Stop acting like a child and getting upset when someone doesn’t think the same way as you. End rant.

Anyway, looking forward to posting more.

I continue to hear April 18th as the day Gary Bettman will make the announcement on the Coyotes being sold to Ryan Smith and the team moving to Salt Lake City. All indications are this is the only option, and all the wheels are in motion for the purchase and transfer of assets.

I live in Scottsdale, AZ and for selfish reasons I wish the Coyotes would stay here and in particular at Mullett Arena. I went to the Rangers game here back on 3/30 and honestly it was the best NHL experience I had. I've been to about 50 games at MSG and another 10 or so at other arenas. It is so intimate. I could see the players hating it, but from a fan perspective it was awesome.

Even if they move to Utah, I don't know if that is for the 24-25 season or not until the 25-26 season. If they do play here again next season, and if you have the financial stability to make the trip out here, I highly encourage it. It's a great experience.

That's fair. I'm sure you like seeing a local Ranger game once a year. My take on it is, (not factoring that the people who are hockey fans) is that the league deserves this mess. Everybody the league has approved the sell to person to regarding the coyotes, is always an issue. I do feel bad for the players and staff who have no say in whole sale move. And like you said, at the end of the day the Coyotes fans get shafted. But god the NHL is terrible at this.
