I recently wrote a paper for a few Leadership Teams I am on for clients on what it takes to be an A player. It was not exhaustive nor was it academic.

It is my suggestion that A players are borne from A managers and A coaches. If you do not have the accountability from your managers, you will NOT get peak performance. So, until you have a real coach then I do not think you can dismiss players as you are quick to want to do.

I got 3 players on my list that exceeded realistic expectations for the season

none of them met my expectation


and bryson is one of the 3 that exceeded my expectation

hopefully the new coach will change things as there are not many options left if the can has to be kicked another 2 years
