You've brought up multiple interesting options from late in the 1st round and beyond 👏 👍 🙏

Just trying to find good Complimentary Players that add different elements to our prospect pool. Can't keep drafting small exciting talent, we have a bunch of that already. Need to add the glue.

We need a PP that doesn’t suck a Godzilla sized nutsack and a coaching staff that isn’t completely useless.

Fix the coaching, fixes the PP, and the rest should take care of itself as long as the overall roster stays healthy next season and we don’t get the worst sequencing luck imaginable

Well we knew about the PP last season by January and Oh Well! Coaching was loved here until this Year by most and injuries Happen. It's when you do nothing to help your team when they Happen that needs to be addressed. UPL fell into place or this team would be lucky to have 70 points.
Enough with this HOPE Bullsh!t, The Sabres have the assets to go get there Hope instead of waiting for it.

This is good, I remember back when they built that pipeline from the bay of Bengal to the mountains of Nepal...and while controversial, the orca blood needs to get there somehow.

You would think, but honestly, I'm not sure a contender would want him, even at $5M. But I don't know, just my guess. He's too much of a defensive liability and given that he doesn't contribute much to a PP unit, he's pretty one dimensional. That'd be a tough sell, especially if he has a down year next year.

I think Skinner's negative impact is over blown personally. He is a -1, not that is a be all/end all measurement, but it is reflective of his overall play. Has 56% GF% and positive Corsi, yet gives up more scoring chances against and HDCA. While he doesn't score a ton on the PP, he does at 5v5 and has a very nice split between G's and A's.
At $5m, I think that is a pretty decent contract for putting up 50/60 pts. He plugs in well on a scoring line and gets a fair amount of dirty goals.

He isn't trash, just overpaid and needs some sheltering IMO.

Right so their actual size is pretty meaningless.

I also don’t think they play “small” they play like they aren’t worried about their jobs

I'm with you on most of this but I think that 50-60pts is predicated upon him playing top line minutes. On the 3rd line on most teams, he's a 18g-12a-30p guy IMO. He had 1 pt in his last 10 games since going with Krebs and Greenway. While his linemates would be better on a contender, I doubt he's cracking 20 goals. I could be wrong, but I think that, if put on the scales, tips things back to the negative pretty quickly.

We'd need a contender with $5m in space that is willing to take a chance on him, that he'd waive to go to. The more I think about it the less I think he's moveable tbh.

Savoie Benson Ostlund Rosen Neuchev all not big Boy's, all the next round coming. Add that to the Pu$$ies on board already. No they don't have to be 6'3" to play gritty. Just the prospects I have posted have size, can skate, can get dirty.
