Flacccoville is Jet Jaguar XL? Jet Jaguar XL is Flacccoville? This picture reminded me of a long dissertation, I believe authored by Jet Jaguar XL, on what really happened to Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman. The dissertation wasn't a very impressive piece of work, but was similar to the off the wall conspiracies Flacccoville has been writing on here lately.

IMO $7.6m for 3rd Pairing is crazy to spend assuming Sammy is the other 3rd Pair partner, especially when the team will be entering the Cap world in another season.

RyJo can do as much if not better than Cliffy.. except hit as much or fight.... Not his game. That saves, $2.4m there. Moving Samuelson's $4.3m and replacing with a solid Vet for under $2m would be better. That's another $2.3m ... Total $4.7m which is a sizeable down payment on a Top 4 Dman they truly need.
None of that will happen though... Except RYJo pair d with Cliffy and Sammy will be the Top 4 partner for Dahlin or Power.

Our total on defense is about 25m. which is middle of the road. Teams like Carolina, Vancouver, Boston, Vegas and Winnipeg all pay more at the position and are near the top of that stat. Do you think these teams are built poorly or are too back heavy?

Edit: I'll add. I wouldn't mind trading Joker+Clifton this summer, bringing in a better top4 guy and promoting RyJo, but that will simply stack more into the top4 and lessen the 3rd pairing. The totals will still be similar.

I think you're right, other than the extensions. He'll be cooked completely by the time his contract expires. I wouldn't be surprised if he slows down and becomes another Matty Mo by then.
