Pens are 3-9 in games decided in the OT part (i.e. that don't go to the shoot out). Looks like CBJ are 3-10. SEA is also 3-9 like us.

In terms of 3-on-3 goals, our 3 scored are tied for 21, but only 2 teams have less, and our 9 allowed are tied for 2nd worst.

Interestingly, shots at 3-on-3 are only 21-28 and HD chances are 10-12. Our goalies are only 68% save percentage in the OT.

Yep... Pure hubris. Deserves to lose.

I hated Dan Bylsma because he was ridiculously stubborn. Dan was smart enough to practice shootouts because it was a substantial part of the game. The Pens used to clean up a lot of extra points because of it.

I wouldn't say she's into pseudoscience but my wife is definitely predisposed to be curious about this kind of bullpoop and it's probably our biggest philosophical difference. She used to casually be into essential oils and I kind of shamed it out of her (and she found out its toxic to cats so she stopped).

They tried, believe me. The Islanders play a boring brand of hockey but effective. They had like 25+ blocked shots last night. They plug 3 BIG guys in front of the goaltender and play like this whenever they can. I predict we'll have trouble against them.
