Cutter has been great playing on arguably the most talented college team ever. But it’s laughable to put him above Michkov. Michkov leads his team in goals and is 2nd in points on a team with no studs. He’s playing against seasoned pros every night. - Minnyhock
It's all subjective. What the real issue is that the Flyers could've had two of the top prospects in the NHL but they blew it. Could've had two prospects with elite potential.

Does anyone here really think Button is wrong about Gauthier? The kid has had a hell of a year, everything taken at it's face value. I think he will live up to the hype, he really does seem to be elite in multiple areas, and is up for the Hobey Baker award later this week.

I think he's the real deal. - TheFreak
Cutter's in the same place as Brayden Schenn and Puljujarvi were not that long ago. For a brief time people talked about them like they were the next coming after a little bit of dominance against teens.
He'll probably become a good player but I still don't see the necessary hockey sense and team play that makes the elite guys elite. The same things that are holding Tippett back from becoming the next Nate MacKinnon lol. |

It's a meme at this point.
Nobody's worked up about it. It's hilariously stupid. |

by and large it can not be taught or learned. All can improve but elite is more natural ability.

Gauthier is probably the real deal. That being said, I think we all agree we hope Buttons wrong and this kid turns out to be the next Alex Daigle, Pavel Brendl, Nail Yakupov etc. |

Nobody really knows at this point. The sad part is that Michkov and Cutter could have been the real core of the team for years. I just wish we knew what really took place and why he wanted no parts of the Flyers organization. Love to know what really went down...

He may not be the next Nate McKinnon but he's the next Chris Kreider.

Yup.
Michkov has it in spades, like Kuch... that's why I'm bullish on his future. |

Well we put that one to bed so now we have to see if Cutter can rise to that level. So maybe we should take baby steps.
If Cutter > TK, then does that = Cutter > Pasta?
Oh God I’m having flashbacks to math class |

It's Konecny is greater than Pasta.
By the way, I don't know if you saw it but today's gem was that Tippett has 28 goals with 5 of them being PP goals. If he doubles his PP goal output, he'll be a 40 goal scorer.

We'll just ignore the fact that Krieider scores almost all his goals in front of the net, most via tips.
Tippett.... ironically... barely tips.

50 goal Kreider or 25 goal Kreider? One things for sure, regardless he should be a PP specialist |

just ouch, would have had the 1 and 5, but lets see what Drysdale has - wcorvette
I think Gabe Perrault was the best player available when the Flyers picked Bonk for need so they could've had 1, 5, 7.
