Up until the last little bit where everyone has sucked, I thought Frost was finally looking like a 2C. Now, the Flyers problem is they have no 1C so their 2C is playing 1C minutes/matchups. The Flyers 1st line is basically a contenders 2nd line. I think we have to look at it that way when evaluating. Right now there are going to be times where certain guys look great and then look bad.

They have Michkov but need that 1C. I actually think this losing streak will be a good thing long term. Will hopefully put them in a better draft spot this summer. Additionally, it should recalibrate the thinking that they’re closer than they are.

My last thought, my guess is they haven’t been getting offers of a 1st rd pick for Laughton. And unless they do, he ain’t going anywhere. I like the guy but let’s hope someone makes the same stupid offer Fletcher did for Risto and DB takes it.

I get the point but Shaw coaches the defense. Rocky Thompson is the hockey genius that coaches the PP.

I love how they make it seem like the flyers are incredibly unlucky with all the high danger scoring chances. Ok the nhl may count them as that, but I can promise you maybe 20% of those are actual high danger
