Wouldn't it be cool to see Detroit vs. New York? Or else it would be awesome and intriguing to see Crosby et al make in.

The fact that a Leafs vs. Dubas 2nd round is still technically possible in this timeline makes my Leafy sense activate.

Edmonton has dominated LA. You never know, but Edmonton has 3 gimmes (Arizona x 2 and San Jose), of their final 6, with games against a struggling Vegas, in Colorado and of course the matchup with Vancouver.

Vancouver has 1 gimme (Arizona) and Vegas, Winnipeg and Calgary (sort of iffy, maybe a bit of a gimme).

That head-to-head game between them likely decides the #1 spot in the Pacific.

Dallas has the Western top seed all but sown up. Nashville has a WC spot lined up. If Vegas steps up then they'll pass LA, and do have 2 games in hand on red-hot Nashville - but whoever places first in the Pacific is either playing Nashville or Vegas - the way Nashville has playing of late and the way Vegas will play when their 22 stars on LTIR suddenly return in full form, that's a tough matchup.
