They could bring Edstrom back into the fold. Hes obviously not nearly as exciting as Rempe but hes definitely a much better skater. - aecliptic
I never felt Edstrom was a liability out there. I do feel Rempe is. |

They need to find every top tier skating coach possible to work with Rempe in the off-season. |

I totally agree about Edstrom. I thought he was a better skater that could actually fit on a 4th line down the stretch. I guess they preferred the edge that Rempe brought to the game and its effect on the rest of the group, but it's too bad Edstrom was the man out. I could see him getting a 4th line spot next year |

They just need two. 1 on the other's shoulders. |

I feel we would all agree about Edstrom not being so much of a liability out there. But, I also don't remember a single thing he did, either. Maybe that's why he failed to stick?
Edit:
And I don't say that to knock the kid. I hope to see 6'7" and 6'8" putting fear into opponents on the 4th line next year.
I was calling him E-train every time he played. Watching, hoping he would use his size and make things happen. Mostly, he was competently "there." |

I agree about him not standing out, but I didn’t notice him in a bad way either. The only thing I’d want from him that I didn’t really see is more of an edge. Part of that could just be he needs to fill out some, still very lanky. We’re finally starting to see a bit of that from Miller. Maybe Edstrom just needs some more time to grow into his body to be more comfortable playing that way. |

So with a win tomorrow and a loss/ot loss by Carolina tomorrow, we clinch the division. Or if we get an ot loss and Carolina loses in regulation we clinch as well.. basically need a 3 point swing... I'm hoping for that tomorrow so we can worry about the conference Thur vs Philly

Last game of the season..unless they need the points, for the hell of it would you try
Kreider Zib Rempe. See what happens, maybe you get lightning in a bottle. Even just for a shift or two. Lavy can have fun for a night lol I don’t think anyone wants Rempe to succeed more than Lavy does. Imagine he had a reliable guy that big and intimidating at his disposal Rempe is a game changer if he ever gets developed properly
Hopefully that last game they can give the big guys a rest. Give them a full week before the cup run starts. Dress some black aces |

I thought Edstrom played well. It wasn’t a lot but I definitely think they have plans for him. Nothing this year necessarily. They need him to develop at center. If the Rangers next year could have Vesey Edstrom Rempe on a 4th line, that could be real good…..”REV” line. Revving up the crowd |

I would say that Edstrom is “safe” in terms of what is asked of him. Big, physical and a better skater. He did as well contribute offensively pretty much right away which was a surprise. |

The Rangers aren't a wussy team anymore like back then. Rangers now got guys that can throw down, even without the Rempire state building. Goodrow, Trouba, Miller, Vesey, Schneider, Cuylle, Kreids can all stand toe to toe with most. Even Vinny can kick ass - Greschnergy#4
No doubt...but I would much rather Rempe cancel out Wilson than having one of the aforementioned players lose playing time in the box. That is a win for the team.

Isn't it nice to be worrying about Rempe's ice time and Edstrom's development with a week left in the season? Other team's fans are on pins and needles crunching numbers for making the playoffs and we are scheduling our weeks rest!! |

Yup, agree. He is a walrus in front of the goalie as well. |

Before the season starts, they should just simulate with analytics who will make it to the playoffs and only play playoff games. Who cares about the regular season, analytics tell u everything u need to know |

Analytics have a place but come playoff time it just doesn’t matter. It’s all about survive and advance. Ride a hot goalie or a hot scoring stretch. It’s the exact reason players like Goodrow are on the rangers and being paid so much. They are playoff warriors who rise to the occasion |
