I know most of it. When the salary cap first came out in 2005, I actually read and studied the CBA to learn a lot about it. I had a good general knowledge of it. I used to
calculate the Flyers cap space on my own. I'm sure that it wasn't 100% accurate but it was close.

do you have it handy next to your night stand?

I would consult a professional. LOL

Its kind of strange why anyone would delve into the CBA like that. For some reason I just took interest in it. I forget a lot of it and it has changed over the years with new versions.

Has to be photoshopped. Clarke is retired and spends his time in Florida!

Glad to see he still looks good. That's pretty darn good for a 74 y/o with type 1 diabetes.

yep, that's why he didn't go early in the draft. Teams were afraid to take a guy with diabetes.

You probably had a better grasp of the cap then the Flyers did at that point.

Briere says they want to focus on getting him on the ice. An extension is coming, but that will happen in a bit, and he doesn't expect any issues.

Fedotov playing is up to Torts.

Hopefully he looks good in practice.

Any word on when he actually arrived in Philly ?

Well no matter how it turns out, this has been a fun season, even if they don't advance. When was the last time we could say that ?

Next season will be fun now too. Full lineup, and hopefully a new face or two.

Yeah. There were a lot of posts this week wondering why Danny didn't try and get a backup at the TDL. Now we know why. Danny is managing the same way he played. With lots of adrenaline. He cut this right down to the wire.

Even if Danny never wins a cup, it's going to be a fun ride !

Let’s not go that far. It did cost them a 7th round pick in 2015

not so sure it will be that much fun. I fully expect them to regress some as can’t see the devils, sabres, ottawa and the wings being as bad as they were this year. Columbus will also be better to a degree. There is always a surprise team like the flyers.

For the most part the flyers will run back the same lineup. Their full lineup isn’t good enough at all. There is no immediate help in LHV or coming from juniors. To attract any high end free agents they will have to overpay.

flyers have/had an opportunity to trade tk and get a Desjardin/leclair light type of deal. Very doubtful they go that route unless he tell them testing free agency.

People are too negative on this site. This team was in the toilet 18 months ago, and now look at them. We're talking about things that were never possible with Vigneault, Yeo or the other coaches who tried to turn things around. Try not to focus on the problems, yes they are definitely there, but try to enjoy it !

We don't know if the Flyers tried to acquire a backup goalie. We just know that they didn't
