Kind of feel the backup goalie results can only go up- certainly a chance to be equally bad. The back story will be fascinating. The whole contract termination in the KHL, no Visa issues, and his ability to speak English very good. IIRC, when Bob started with the Flyers, his ability to speak English was very limited. Never a dull moment in Flyerland.

I didn't see the press conference so I have no idea if they mentioned the timeline of how/when they knew he was coming over. And did that effect why they didn't make a deal for a backup at the deadline?

Sam was better IMO when he was competing with Hart. If Fedetov and he are competitive with each other and push each other this could turn out fantastic. Ersson has the talent but Felix was not pushing him.
