Laf wow. I had to listen to it but it definitely made the drive easier hearing laf get 5 pts. What a developing year for him this year. So much promise now. It was a scary for a bit wondering what he actually would be, but that lotto ball gets shinier and shinier by the game it feels like. Kakko still needs to hit another level. That goal vs Colorado was maybe his best shift of the season, it’s just sooooo inconsistent that he’s like that.

Maloney was wondering why Schneider and Miller were separated because Trouba is back. Granted I didn’t see any of this game, but this is the one thing Lavy annoys me with…don’t break what’s fixed. The D pairs were great without Trouba, and by default, Miller played better than ever with Schneider, and vice versa. Just leave them together and have Jones, who should play every game now, with Trouba. It eases minutes on everyone and it’s probably the best D structure we’d have.

Trocheck is lb for lb the most underrated player in hockey imo. Hes having an amazing season. +6 tonight. Combined that line had +12 in the game. Men vs boys with them at times out there. Some idiot thought about breaking that line up (it was just to get Zib and Kreider going)

Biggest joke was Lavy holding his post game presser OUTSIDE because there wasn't enough room INSIDE the building! Bright sun in his face and planes flying overhead ruining the audio! I felt like this was a scene straight out of Spinal Tap. Bettman has to go if he thinks this is acceptable!
