Would love to see Carolina play Tampa rd 1 somehow, but that seems increasingly unlikely.

We'd have to lose the division for that to happen, which wouldn't be the juju going into the playoffs that I'd want for us.

I think our best rd 1 scenario at this point is claim #1 in the East, get the team of Phi/Wsh/Det that squeaks in, and hope the team that get's #3 in the metro is playing better hockey and can make Carolina go to at least 6 games.

I feel like Philly would take a chunk out of us even though we’d probably win. Caps don’t scare me at all in any way. Detroit is just so wildly inconsistent but they seem like they aren’t going to make it

So who else is worried about tomorrows game against the Yotes besides me? lol They just put up an 8 spot against the hottest team. Gotta make sure we stay on our toes and dictate the pace of play.

Dress Rempe. They have a few guys that play physical. No need to not have him in the lineup against a team with nothing to play for. I’d bring Edstrom back up also.

Great win last night. The head to head numbers for Igor and Georgiev are impressive. Fun rivalry to watch.
Anyone else notice a lot of unforced turnovers in Roslovics game? Not as much against Col, but he had at least 4 blatant turnovers against Philly. Granted the whole team was sloppy.

Rangers were losing 2-0 to Sens when Connor Mackey (in his first game as a Ranger) drilled Stutzle. Brady Tkachuk challenged Mackey and they fought. Rangers then scored 7 unanswered goals to win and team record is 20-5 since then. Kind of equated it to Trouba's helmet throw to spark the club...

Then Mackey got hurt got with Hartford and has been out. Not sure if he’s back.
