Elias Pettersson was absent from practice for a maintenance day and is expected to play tomorrow. Nils Aman served as the placeholder during line rushes, meaning we’d expect to see Pettersson with Nils Höglander and Brock Boeser on his wings tomorrow vs. Anaheim.
There were some shakeups on the power play units as well, and for the majority of practice, the team worked on the power play.
Of all players he’s the last to take a day off when working on the PP.
Auston Matthews scored his 60th, guy is just a monster. I was reminded of the genius minds of this board calling him Buston been a few years since those idiots have called him that, that’s for sure. I’m always so happy to them underperforming in the playoffs, but that kid is ridiculous.

Yes, there was a lot of that! The ironic thing is that there was a lot of busts in that 2016 draft, turns out Sam Girard would redraft higher than Laine
A lot of sour grapes lately for a team tuning up for the playoffs.
JTM signs an extension and the trade calls and his play get questioned constantly. Now he found his groove he’s lauded. Petey does same but in season so now has to adjust to that reality. The mental game is so more difficult to spot.
But it just seems that execution is the Canucks problem. This is where players have to calm their play make it simple and play out of it. Gain the groove of confidence. Here’s hoping Petey finds that to do more. Canucks will need that from him come playoffs.

Solid words here but really does RT call JTM 'Millsy'?
That is the real question of the day. Can you answer?
Im out on the water all weekend getting prawns, crabs, fishing and sinking beer. There's nothing any of you complainers can do to me this weekend! Skinner is playoff ready!
