Cap wise? They had plenty of space with the availability of being able to place Ellis on LTIR.

Would you have taken a flier on Raanta?

Classic Torts on the post game interview! If you blinked, you might have missed it!

Torts is just a Richard. Fair enough question he doesn’t answer then walks off.

I think most understand that by saying nothing he said a lot.

His goalie stunk and he said it without saying it.

The way Raanta has played this year, he's not really an upgrade.

Agreed. I think, flyers took a right approach for riding it out this year

Pretty much.

I would have went with.
I thought we playing good team D and limiting chances. Felix didn’t have a lot of work. That can be tough to get into the flow of the game. I’m sure he would want a couple of the goals back but we also have to finish our chances which we didn’t do a good job of tonight. I have confidence Felix can help us get a couple of wins coming up.

Yeah coach speak but better than what he did.

Team A started an NHL caliber goaltender
Team B didn’t

That rarely ends well for Team B

Stellar job by Briere getting a veteran goalie at the deadline. Embarrassment
- PLindbergh31
Brutal by DB. Picks up a run of the mill defender (what was he doing on the Bruins first goal yesterday) for a 4th round pick instead of using that pick on a serious need. This team's season is absolutely riding on the shoulders of a rookie/relatively unproven goalie. Not good Danny Boy.

Despite the flyers wins against Florida the panthers are just better.

Yes, that would have been the proper way to address the question but Torts is gonna Torts. He was probably still fuming from the bs penalty calls at the end of the first.

The tarasenko and Reinhart goals, they are wide open looks for 2 premium goal scorers in this league. No issue with them. The 3rd goal was weak.

What is dooming this team is not the goaltending. It is the anemic power play. I’ve never seen a power play get pressured so high like they do and for good reason, they have no answers. They don’t move the puck quickly, there’s no plan. It’s a season long problem at this point and the primary reason why they might be on the outside looking in in a few weeks

There’s no problem with the goaltending. Things turned out the way we wanted. Get rid of hart so we don’t have to pay him and lean on Ersson. It’s worked out fine. Then when it comes time to pay ersson, we can trade him. No problem. Teams really don’t need goaltending depth as it’s not an important position.

Reinhart, 27 pp goals. The Flyers, 30 pp goals. Its insane how bad they are.

The flyers have half as many goals shorthanded. It’s almost April
