I'm just looking forward to the draft lottery actually happening. Last year it was on May 8, my guess it will be sometime the week of May 5th this year.

The season sends April 18th and the playoffs start April 22nd. Ideally the lottery happens between the end of the season and the start of the playoffs, but that wouldn't give the NHL enough time to prepare. I think the week of May 5th would be reasonable.

I'm not expecting the Hawks to draft #1, I just want to know when they will be drafting.

Mitchell was a pretty decent skater I thought, that was his strength. As Chunk said he just didn’t have it between the ears.

Jiri Felcman, one of the Blackhawks’ 3rd-round picks last summer, has signed an AHL ATO to finish out the year with Rockford. He had been playing in Switzerland.

Thats pretty cool. Looks like an interesting prospect. Seems like he had a really nice U20 portion of the season.

He's only 18 right now? The small ice will be an adjustment for the kid so hopefully he can get hit on the head this spring and look to take another step forward in the fall.

Based on Bill's notes it seems like he has a nice set of tools and knows how to use his frame.

Simmer down big fella. He was careful to say that he moves like Neidermayer and needs poop tons of work.

The context was skating. Korbustski does not, never will come close to moving like Neidermayer. Hell, he doesn't even move as well as Kaiser.
