I doubt it - torts owes it to the players who put forth such a gallant effort to go back out there with no changes

He won’t draw back in until there is an injury to a centre

Torts is a double edged sword to me, i dont think he is right for a team that needs to rebuild and get good draft picks, maybe play the kids a little more. However i think we needed to get rid of the country club atmosphere we've had for years here with Jake and G, and he is getting that in place. Even the sitting Coots, something like that could get the team together more, were they are all like F you torts....buts its making for a tighter group and have each others backs

That's an interesting take. I don't see it playing out that way, but we shall see. I would think he would come back in the lineup tomorrow against the Bruins based on the type of team that they are. Torts won't tell anyone.

In case anyone wonders where the rest of the fanbase stands on Torts and the Flyers. Interesting stuff.

It says that that contract is gonna be a total albatross , but I think most of us already kind of saw that coming unfortunately. Perhaps Coots goes off the rails and demands a trade. Wonder how that would play out? Probably not well cause I don't think anyone will want to invest in him long term.

But if he doesn't want to be a Flyer.......what was Jones saying about that?

Win what though?

Win games to get into the playoffs where they are most likely a one and done?

Some people want more.

assuming drysdale is back for the playoffs york + drysdale will get playoff experience as our 1 and 2 dmen
Frost, Farabee, Tippet, and Konecny get more experience
Laughton keeps doing his thing
It would be great for these guys to learn what it takes to make the playoffs and try to be successful there

If Coots gets upset, then trade him as he wants he can go coast in Arizona or wherever he ends up. I thank him for his long service to the Flyers and will still enjoy the memorabilia I have from him
