No, he doesn't. He improves team and makes them better. He doesn't take them far in the playoffs. I've consistently stated that my standard is not winning the cup, as that is very difficult and takes good fortune. My standard is developing and coaching the team into a legit cup contender.

He underachieved with a very talented Rangers team. Didn't do squat in Vancouver. He improved Columbus but ultimately didn't take them anywhere. In the big picture he hasn't done anything since leaving TB almost 20 years ago.

I think Rupp only played one year for the Rangers: 2011-12.

That team was pretty darn good if I recall. Brad Richards, Gaborik, Callahan, MDZ, Stepan, Ryan McDonagh, Anisimov, Hagelin, Girardi, etc... not to mention you also had King L with a below 2.00 GAA

So yes, they were a very talented team and finished 1st in the EC.
