I don’t sub to DK so couldn’t read but Hasse published an article stumping for his call up. The beat is starting to think he’s ready to sink or swim.

He has been playing pretty well down in WBS this season. He got injured and he came back and has still played pretty well. He is using his size more and driving to the net. Then again Puljujarvi was the same way and played really well in WBS...

Anyone else find this a bit ironic.....

"Dubas will need to shed the defense first forward mentality."

Considering we don't play defense, at any position.

Which is why it should be sink or swim time. I even like Gruden but it's silly he got the call again over Poulin.

Former 1st, scoring pace of 30+ goals 65 points over an 82 game season, smart two way player, kills penalties, brings a physical edge willing to fight heavyweights in the minors. I don't see how our bottom six couldn't use a player like that.

Dubas filled out the roster with defense first forwards with no offensive upside. He even said that was the plan and have the PP and top six win them the games. Didn't exactly work out.

Does your arse get jealous of the crap that comes out of your mouth? You could at least attempt a google search to pretend like you know what you are talking about. I’m guessing you’re the person on the maple leafs board that no one likes?

Agreed. Bring up poulin and a slot him in on one of the top lines. There’s nothing to lose and a better draft pick to gain.

I do really like Eller. He’s just steady, works hard. Got that quiet toughness to him. Seems stronger than the average guy too.

It's because Gruden and Koppanen are the best 2 on the penalty kill. Both have 2 short handed goals and they both do well blocking shots and throwing their body around. Gruden has a bit more grit to his game. I think Poulin definitely deserved a call up this season though.
