Now they are the 4th best team in the league.

Vancouver basically has the same team and fired their coach and hired Rich Tocchet.

They were awful last year and missed the playoffs.

This year they are first in the conference.

There is no accountability on this team, its soft just like Granato.

Give us a real coach like Tocchet, Brind'Amour, Torts, Laviolette and its a different team with the same players.

Last years team scored at will and couldn’t get a save if their life depended on it.

This years team has gotten more then enough saves (aside from tonight) but their special teams fell off a cliff and their even strength goal scoring went down to commit to a more defensive structure.

Same names, way different team.

I listen closely to Granato's words. He disassociates himself from the product on the ice.

People should listen closely. He doesn't say we he says them. I have mentioned it before and people say I am being petty but team verbiage is important.

He absolutely doesn't hold himself accountable and he doesn't hold the players accountable either.

I remember a game where they got spanked and players left before interviews which is against NHL rules. They all ran out of the room. When the media asked about the players Granato didn't even know they left!

Again no accountability. I remember again people calling me petty when I brought that up.

Its the totality of it all. Guys are not being held accountable and you can pick up on these little things and get a sense of whats going on.

I agree with Tage, Tuch, cozens, and skinner have all sucked this year. Far below any expectations.

But …..

Donny routinely played Erik Johnson over Ryan Johnson and Bryson (Bryson 3rd pair has been solid)

The pp is a mess that has sucked since the 2nd half of last season

Donny giving Okposo way way too many minutes and pp time

Donny on a nightly basis comes up with terrible forward lines that just don’t work.

Kulich was up and played with Okposo on the 4th line

This team on a routine basis comes out flat and doesn’t show up until 5 minutes left

I can go on and on.

The reality is. This team his a wall with Granato and they don’t listen or give a poop about what he says.

This team has way more talent than the red wings, caps, islanders, and I’m missing a team.

Except poor coaching decisions the 1st half and throwing away games to “learn” is a completely garbage excuse.

If Detroit makes the playoffs, then since Adams was hired the only other teams that will have not made the playoffs during his tenure are the Sharks, Ducks, and Sens. The guy is in over his head and I don't want him making any decisions

Edmonton isn't the only team that fired their coach and turned their season around. Granato is straight trash cant wait to hear what excuses he has next week on the radio
