It's irrelevant in outcome, no argument but I often root for the good guys. Honesty and kindness are rare things in this world, don't see the problem hoping people who possess those traits are rewarded for it.

The misstep would be shielding him due to this, which I don't. He's got to go.

I mean, with Ralph, who knows he may be right. But if the intensity of training is that stark in contrast in Colorado vs here, that's a big problem. He needs to up it again or we need to find someone who will.

Looking at goals by period, they've tended to do the worst early in games. So that doesn't speak to them being out of shape, rather unprepared. So it's multiple things that need to change and not many people left who think Donny is the man to do it. It's so disheartening because I really like him as a human. He's just not cut out to be an NHL head coach.

Unprepared/not ready to go happens alot with them no question

He literally said they are a different team when they're rested. Like who isn't? It's just a big time excuse coming out of the mouth of the guy who's responsible for making sure they are conditioned and prepared. A young team should not have conditioning issues

It is embarassing as a fan to listen to that garbage excuse when a player we just traded to a championship organization has now on multiple occasions made note of how much different it is there

There is no reason to keep Granato and very little if any reason to trust adams to make the moves necessary to propel the organization forward

Can't argue, particularly with the bolded. It's really disconcerting they're both still here and will be, seemingly, for some time.

I have seen them start a game flat on the back end of back to back games as well as when rested

I have also seen us play a team which is playing the second of a back to back and they look faster than us

Winners aren't always bad guys either. Not sure there's any correlation there.

The GM, coach and players haven't been here for the entire drought so it's not their fault.

Sabres could certainly some iron being sharpened.

Nick Foligno and Kevin Korchinski went head-to-head in an intense battle drill, and the vet showed him some love for the effort.

Iron sharpens iron 🔥

100%

Anyone who watches the games can see it. Obviously it makes no difference if the radio guys go after him or not but it would be nice to hear some pushback on the bullpoop Granato spews weekly

Oh I'm with you. All the blathering about the team's "psyche" when we're 3 years in with him has gotten old. If he hasn't fixed their psyche yet, he's never going to. The conditioning stuff is just interesting to me because he's seemed to make that a priority early on

Out of his comfort zone?

He seems to have done well on the trade but let's not pretend the writing wasn't on the wall for mitts the minute cozens signed. He had to trade him it was inevitable. He could have waited longer to do it, if you want to consider that going out of his comfort zone

Not one time has he traded one of his guys picks or prospects to make this team better

- ieetbred

That's why I said comfort zone, he never does anything until he has to.

The above would be the only reason I hope they don't make the playoffs.

If they make it, he'll use that as evidence nothing else really needs to change.

You don't have to hope lol they haven't won 4 in a row all season they will need to do it twice or better here to have a shot

Honestly the closer they got or get the worse it makes looking back on the poor decisions

They don’t have to win 4 in a row once technically speaking.

They would have to put together 3 separate 3 game heaters though to go 9-2-1

It's cool Dude, not trying to be a jerk! Totally agree in what you said. Adams keeps missing his signals and that's not a good thing for a Top 5 GM or whatever he's called around here.

And most likely still won't be good enough. Whoever posted yesterday I think has that at a 30% chance with that finish if I recall correctly

They needed to be Nashville the last 14 games and they arent even close to it

And 5 days ago I didn’t think anyone would mkake the playoffs with 90 points while the teams all in the playoff race continue to piss, poop, and puke all over themselves

I hear ya. If I could ask TPegs one question it would be:

If repeating the same behaviors over and over and expecting a different result is the definition of insanity, what next classification do we have for this?
