If that's the case, what are the traits you're looking for? I assume it's a heavy game or something to that affect, or am I assuming incorrectly?
- QuinnFan

You assume correctly....no Wahlberg is not a heavy player. (I'm assuming you will suggest he plays that game...he doesn't)

Nail on the head. I'd suggest to waive Levi, but seeing as he's exempt, we should trade him while he's still worth the 7th rounder he was picked with.
- QuinnFan

Good luck. No one wants a barely sub 6’ goalie. Mystery 7th rounders are gold.
Levi is Levi.
But the mystery 7th rounder could be anything. It could even be Levi!

SHL is roughly equivalent to the AHL. NHLe says it's better. He's coming over with some good XP and a lot of momentum from this season.

Imagine Krebs starts as 3C next season, but it might not end that way.

Dahlin was the next Bobby Orr...projections mean little in Buffalo.

I think the attributes provided by these prospects are already on the NHL roster, they are not the solution to the Sabres needs, making them busts.
- washedup20

Nope.
As existing starters grow and become more expensive, having developed ready-to-play young players on ELC's and bridge deal enable investments elsewhere on areas of need without experiencing significant dips.

He's touted as being a good defensive player, but not a heavy, despite being biggish. I think he can be a guy we need, but understand he doesn't necessarily fit the Tom Wilson type we all want.

So what I'm trying to say is...you really, really want to see some Big Murr hockey, huh?

No, it's Okposo's fault or bust. He is sabotaging us from Florida and the league needs to step in.
- QuinnFan

i mean buffalo is playing better since him and e jonhson left because the mickey mouse beer league coach cant double shift them.

Bigg Murr failed miserably this season when given the opportunity.

The Sabres need an offensively gifted vet and a 4th liner that puts the heart back into the games.

I don't know who those would be, I think a Rempe type would allow this soft group of players a chance to relax and play their game.

They need a skilled vet to show them how to relax under pressure.

Or

Terry needs to start putting vicodin in the water.

11.) Tij Iginla
- Hank Balling

When was that information posted on Iginla's kid.

The numbers look like it was quite a while ago.

Roslovic would be a bottom6er I'd imagine. Not sure if he's a center or winger here though.

And I getcha. It's tough to hope for good things for this franchise. At the same point, that would be a better squad and we are knocking on the doors of a spot as is. If the additions work out and we have a little better health/injury luck, I think we'd be in good spot.

Anyone else you'd target in FA that's feasible? I mean I'd love Stammer to be here, just doubt that's in the cards.

Addition by subtraction for sure. EJ is the worst.

Needed to happen, not surprised Beane doesn't want to rely on the draft for that position. There's your starter. Don't know squat about him though...you know if he's good?

Thanks for this homie. Yeah, saw the INT numbers, not exactly a ball hawk but can go get after it. Good, glad to hear this isn't a "rut-roh" signing. We need that position to be strong.

I think BB is doing a great job getting depth everywhere so the draft picks in the first 5 round can be players that wow them instead of a need

get one more body on the d line
a rb
and one more db before the draft and perhaps one last o line guy

we look a lot better than the day they cut everyone

The problem with trading them now, after Adams loaded up the on the same type of prospect...is that the entire league knows he needs to move them...reducing their returns...making the waiting to trade them even worse.

If Toronto tried to unload Tavares for a year

Would you take him in and put him between Tage and Tuch?
