If they finish:

95 12-0 98.6%
94 11-0-1 94.2%
93 11-1 86.7%
92 10-1-1 72.4%
91 10-2 55.9%
90 9-2-1 33.8%

What's their best 12 game run all season?

- Lunaion

It might be 7-4-1 but I wouldn't swear to it.

Yeah, fix the forward group now. We need a top6 LW, a 3C (if Krebs can't pull out of this funk, 4C if he can) and a 4RW that is tougher than a coffin nail. Getting Quinn/Sammy back does help balance a lot beyond that.

X Tage Tuch
Petey Cozo Quinn
Skinner X Benson
Greenway Krebs X

Dahlin Byram
Power Joker
Sammy Clifton/RyJo

UPL
Levi

I *think* that team would make the playoffs if the Xs aren't duds.

With all our picks still, Savoie, Kulich, Rosen, Ostlund and Wahlberg as trade bait...it's feasible. As I'm sure it is with you, I just have very little faith Adams can do this, particularly the 1-2LW. Skinner will be back on the top line and one of the prospects will get the call.

Serious issues that need to be addressed

No real first line center
Tage is not going to ever repeat last year
Benson is too small
We will likely bring back this entire team minus Olofsson

Think you need to accept that Tage + Cozens are the top 2 C's. If Tage is as bad as you think, Cozens will be #1. If they had any concern over this, then they keep Mitts.

Benson is one of their best two way F's today.

I think we'll see at last one significant move, most likely a Joker trade.

Didn’t say he was terrible. He’s a winger, not a center and simply stated he will never repeat a 50 goal season run again.
This needs to be accounted for when shaping the roster next year.
Moving Cozens to 1C and Tage to the wing creates too many holes on the second line.
We need a 1C. Doesn’t need to be an 80 point guy, just need to be a good FO guy and puck battler. Complementing guy for a Tuch and Tage.

He’s too small and his speed is very average so he gets knocked around. He’s scrappy. I’ll give you that but if he’s one of our best 2 way players, we clearly need better 2 way players

Brian Duff crushing Marty and the team, when Marty tried to blame the back to back for their lack of energy until the end of the game.

Duff said that is zero excuse, and also hammered them for choosing not to shoot on the first two power plays.

He's right on both accounts.

- kingcong39

Funny part is. Marty and duff usually aren’t able to give their actual thoughts.

Towing the company line. Thag is the closest it’s going to get

Also the back to back Marty comment is lazy. The team clearly isn’t in good enough shape or don’t know how to handle back to back games

They looked dead. Maybe sleep more during the day or something idk

If the only things an 18 year old prospect has to worry about are strength and skating... they're going to be just fine.

Benson is at the very bottom of issues for this team.

The biggest thing an 18 year old prospect need to worry about is development and training. We have about the worst track record on this in the league last 10 years

Well you don't train very hard during the season. And its over in less than a month so he'll get to training soon enough. And he was too good to go back to Junior. NHL isn't a development league but he doesn't have much development to do. The kid is one of the smartest players on the team at franking 18.

Plays all situations without a problem(other than strength). Hes by far the best two-way player out of his draft as of this moment.

I think having Mitts 2.0 in the pipeline helps with that too.

They need a minimum of 3 points in Alberta.

Vancouver last night was the sole regulation loss they could take on the trip.

Glass half full:

Levi doubters, his performance yesterday should give them pause in saying he isn't ready.
