Think its time to send him on his way. Mitts style but in the offseason. Play sammy there next year. Or ryan johnson.

Sell High. I like Joki but i liked mitts also. Changing up the team a little can do good for them as we have seen.

Joker has been very good this year. Played well with Dahlin. He’s just not skilled enough to be a top pairing d.
- Sabretooth9

joker
samuelsson
clifton
bryson
johnson

2 are needed for bottom pair, and 1 for depth, I put bryson in because for the right price he can still be the 7th d man as he looks decent this year

deep 6 1 or 2 of them and get that other top 4 d man that will be a difference maker

the time to slow play this rebuild is over

Is anyone arguing that Krebs is awesome?
Your becoming an old man yelling at the clouds with this, we get it..you hate Krebs and take every opportunity to express the hate.
Nobody is saying he is even ok.

- IonSabres

Homie in particular has been defending Krebs and his 3 total goals this season

Others have as well

I don’t hate Krebs, but he’s definitely a big disappointment and this is a good spot to complain about players …..

Sabres have to realistically go 9-1-1 in the next 10 to have any chance at making it.
- ImThatGuy

Yeah, don’t see that happening lol.

We need to pray the wings islanders devils caps keep losing

he is an ok player with crappy linemates and a bad shot

tage turned it around and with the right wingers perhaps krebs can as well, of course not as good

he is decent on the pk
he is perhaps our second most physical forward, behind tuch but that is not saying much

he was touted as a top 10 pick before his injury and I still hold out hope he can be a 40 point player in our bottom 6, but for that to happen you do need better shooters than robinson, and your boy guy who averages more than 9 goals a season

props to gus on his 2 assist night last night though

If the current Sabres team played like this in October and November. We wouldn’t be even close to this mess

I really don’t get how / why they wouldn’t flat out try or give an effort early on in the season.

It was almost a nightly basis where compete, energy, and even a pulse wasn’t even there. UPL Levi and Comrie also sucked.

So idk if it was a bad combination of everything or what it was

Yup the Achilles injury was a killer. Almost like the Cody Hodgson back injury that plagued him for his entire nhl career

Are you good with paying Jokiharju $4M per for multiple seasons for his new deal...?
- kingcong39

I would like a bit more of a Physical D myself, but for as much as he has grown more consistent as the year has gone on. Will they find better for that price ?

Luukonen's only bad stretch was in December when he got sick lost like 8Lbs in a week and came back right away. He didnt play his first game till October 24th. The team infront of him sucked the first few months. Why they thought a rookie goalie as the starter was a good idea.. no one knows.

31 in May. 6 more seasons at $6.5mill.

Not a good idea IMO.

That was my issue as well. That’s why thought Quinn should’ve started in roch prior to the season

He came back strong but not a large enough sample size to see if he’s back completely.

It sucks he keeps getting hurt. I know both injuries were sorta fluky.

If this was dynasty fantasy football. I would trade him away and consider him injury prone

He's not had more than 2 games in a row all year under .900. His December as a whole did stink though. Which was 5 and a half games. So yeah sure he stunk for 3 games.

What even was Quinn's injury/surgery for in January?

Has that been stated publicly?

I don't want to say Okoposo was a cancer because he meant well and tried hard, more like a benign tumor.

I have to say, I don't mind Girgs now that Okie is gone. It was always "if you absolutely must, then bring only 1 or the other back, but not both".

Power seems to have found his game, could Joker actually be a answer ?
- Buff36

I thought the exact same thing watching the game last night. Is it possible his partner was here all along. Byram certainly makes this team look different.

Girgs will be in a leadership role next season if he is resigned, what justification can you give for him that would make someone believe things will be different, with him as an integral piece to the fabric of the team on their 14th attempt to make the playoffs?

He's been strangely effective on the first line as well in this short stint. 6 pts in 9 games in March. Didn't have assist all year. Has 5 this month.

Just answering responses to what I said last night.

And it is in the rules. A player must return to the ice once healed and their cap hit is applicable again.

Literally the ONLY reason this can be within the rules is if these injuries are all legitimate and the miraculous recoveries every year are a great coincidence...

So do you think Mark Stone just magically gets hurt and better at the same time every year? If so, maybe you'd like a seam bridge. No? Maybe a classic arch then. Something Roman looking? Please tell me, I have allllll sorts to choose from.

Okay, I'll shut up now.

Do you think that an elite athlete would purposely injur his spleen to take time off from the game?
