Sabres didn't want to go over a certain Avv for Mittelstadt. With all the extensions Given, is Adams gonna really pay the price for a true 1C.
- Buff36

I don't mean to dump on you, it isn't directed at you...rather an organization that has tried to get by with players asked to play up a level over their capabilities...the results show as such.

I don't think Tage is a 1C, or even a C at all tbh, yet the kid can play. I'm up in the air with him, but he needs to get his game from last year back for this team to be a threat.

I think a healthy Tage bounces back. Tage, Cozens, Tuch, Quinn, Benson are 5/6 of a good top 6. Plenty of candidates for the 6th.

why benson over peterka?

I think peterka is the best 2 way player of the 3 between him, quinn and benson

Peterka is bad defensively, Benson and Quinn are excellent. Cozen's line is their go to defensive line.

Where are the Hanson brothers when you need them. This road trip will be a disaster.

That’s the Hanson brothers you asked for, right? Because that’s what you get

He has defensive issues. Think that's well known, not hate.

your boy cozens was a minus player in 4 of the 6 months

yet peterka has the second best plus minus for our forwards behind greenway, not benson or quinn

Cozens isn't great defensively either. None of their C's are. Maybe they'll make some good bottom 6 changes and find a good defensive line there. For now, it's Cozens, Benson, Greenway.

Not dumping on me Buddy, organization really hasn't proven they can fill many needs. Mitts for Bryam is turning out Nicely at this point. But I think he got lucky more than anything. Very hard to get players to come here and Adams and Pegula aren't making it any easier. Laying the Hope of success on the Shoulders of bunch of 21-24 year olds being lead by a bunch of Losers. Not a Great Recipe.

Which is why they need a couple vets in that top 9, imo, for next year.

Agreed, I wanted Duchene last offseason. Unfortunately he didn't want us. Think Stamkos would be a good fit. And I would like a Hammer brought in like Yakov Trenin who can get very physical but can also add scoring.

Tage-Stamkos-Tuch
Skinner-Cozens-JJP
Quinn-Laughton-Benson
Greenway-Trenin-Girgs (let's face it, he's coming back)

Byram-Dahlin
Power-Joker
Johnson-Clifton

UPL
Levi

I've traded Samuelsson for Laughton. I like his compete and he apparently has a high hockey IQ and is great, positionally. His cap hit is also attractive for the next two years. We need a nice, gritty vet 3C with some skill, Flyers need a top 4 D.

I've liked Jokers game this year. He's rebounded to be the Joker we all liked immediately after the trade.

Krebs? He went somewhere 😂

I would like 2 that can play pk and pp

Teuvo Teravainen, if he hits free agency will not be cheap as he is a decent pp guy and part of the number 2 overall pk in the league

Chandler Stephenson is a perfect middle 6 guy that can decent on pp and pk

Sprong is decent 3rd line scorer that produces with minimal minutes, but not a pk'er and offers little if any jam

mantha could have nice upside if around 3 or 4 mil per

Sabres really picked the wrong time to no-show 40 minutes.

Out of town score board keeps falling their way.
