This worked well when Power left school. Nice to see it's working again, but I think this time Joker is dragging Power back instead of vice versa.

Just checked the stats, he is +10, 2nd on the team behind Joker @ +13. He has been pretty solid lately...

Also okpsos gone.

Much better puck movement and much faster team.

The value of a top 4 d over Mittlestadt is huge.

Does Samuelson slow this team down when he comes back?

Potentially. Not a huge fan of his. No problem moving him this summer.

Sabres are now 17-11-1 since the calendar flipped to January 1st. That is a 102 point pace.

Just remember if the Sabres do happen to pull this off and end the drought, who the last of the rainbow grifters were left standing.

But then again, this site would probably shut down because the doomers would have nothing left to croak about.

Even when I was cheering for this team to tank up until the Savoie pick I knew it was leading to better days.

Never would have thought being the lone believer would be worse than the tank commander.

Sad poop this blog has become

There playing good Hockey and there getting a bunch of Help. Helps that it might only take 85 or so points to get in to the way it's going. Here's your Lollipop
- Buff36

Funny cause all offseason long I was reading about how you would need 96-98 points to get in this year.

92 will do it

You gave up on the season, but it's not official because you didn't publish a mock draft? I haven't posted one either. Guess I'm safe too.

Is that why I’ve been getting bashed for “kicking the can down the road” for months?

I said starting January that if the Sabres didn’t go on a run I’d give Ieetbred the mock draft and prospect rankings he asked for.

The Sabres went 7-4 in January and all I heard was “well the schedule was soft”.

I said it February they most likely needed 16 out of a possible 22 points and they got 12. The furthest I got to giving up on the season was saying the fat lady was on stage holding the mic but she hasn’t sung yet.

Now we are playing meaningful games in March.

I retired the Pegullaville user name for a reason, they haven’t made the playoffs since I started posting on this site. I was done cheering for losses for a reason, the time was now.

Last year I said they’d play meaningful games in March, and even after everyone threw in the towel after the 8 game losing streak, I didn’t waver.

This year I was the rainbow grifter because I said “why not us” this offseason.

I took poop because I said “let’s give it 10 games” when they started slow in October.

Then it was “if they aren’t in a playoff spot by Thanksgiving they are cooked” and I was still being heckled because I was trying to preach patience.

Then it went to being mocked about “top 5 GM” because I was one of the few who didn’t crap all over our front office and believed in the vision. Yet we sit here today and Greenway was a solid addition, Eric Robinson has done his job, Peterka was a gem of a 2nd round pick, going into the season with 3 goalies turned out to be a solid move, Clifton is the same player he was in Boston now that he isn’t tied to a boat anchor, and the 13th call pick I was pining for is already playing in the NHL at 18 and is already a solid player. Then to put the icing on the cake the “cuck” took the swing for the fences I was saying he was going to do back in November of last year.

Was waiting for you to pipe in.

Remember when I apparently was living with my in-laws because “I was a shill waiting for my father in law to die” because I didn’t want to buy the top of the housing market ?

Your words, not mine.

The average price of a home in London, Ontario is down 28% since the top last February and we are still in the early goings of of stagflation.

We got rid of a couple plow horses. It is a very different dynamic. Too bad he didn’t realize this sooner.
