Agreed but I'm thinking they have the ability to sign/trade for another 2b center to play on a hybrid line on par with
Skinner-Thompson-Tuch
Quinn-Cozens-Peterka
Benson-new guy-Greenway
*Girgensons-Peytonsons-Rouseksons
Lindholm is probably dreaming too big but yeah, Couture or some established vet who could conceivably put up 45 points
*Girgensons is here forever. We need to accept that. Also no one is getting fired; another reality we have to accept. - Hank Balling
Exact reason why analytics exists.
He’s all name, no substance.
He’s been so cheeks there were rumours Vancouver was going to flip him 10 minutes after acquiring him |

As of right now… the bills need to go WR or DT with the 1st round pick.
I’m hoping it’s WR but I’m not banking on it - Sabretooth9
if this is the year of the wr's in the first round, like it sounds like
Kool-Aid McKinstry CB from bama if he is there
DT from michigan, Jenkins
The 2 athletic DE's, kid from Penn State and Latu from UCLA
3 nice Tackle prospects in that range in case they want to move on from Brown
lots of options

I have no opinion on whether he does or does not suck analytically but the Sabres will not be signing a guy who recently posted 82 points in 82 games in any case. It ain't happening |

Would probably have to pay him a poopload but I'd be into it.
The sad part is you know you're not going to get someone even that good. It's going to be someone that's like 1.4x better than John Hayden |

Pontus Holmberg is the current 3rd line center for the leafs
wonder how they got him? |
|
|

This summer's additions will be some version of Connor Clifton and Curtis Lazar. That's what we're getting. I don't like it but it's Kevyn and Terry's world and we're just paying the PSLs in a poopty arena |

Monahan was a huge miss when he was traded from Calgary. I wanted the Sabres to make that move badly. |

Honestly he's too good. My money is on Kevyn signing Teddy Blueger - Latvian synergy with Gus. Cheap, decent faceoff guy.
That's the caliber of player they're after |

In the same offseason that Buchnevich got a late second round pick and Bjorkstrand was given away for a 4th. We got Levi and a first rounder for a pending RFA with arbitration rights in Reinhart.
Levi saved 4 goals above expected last night and has been on a heater in Roch, Kulich just put the finishing touches on a 3 point night and has 11 points in his last 13 games.
I can assure you, the return could have been a lot worse.
In regards to Eichel, you’re never winning a trade with a top 10 Center in his prime going the other way. Tuch is a solid 200 foot winger, Greenway is a good bottom 6 forward, Krebs still has upside, and Ostlund looks like a player.
Heck of a lot better then the cum bucket the Rangers were offering us |

Murray and Botts dug a majority of the hole. Adams fell in the pit and couldn’t get himself out of it. |

This is an attempt to help Adams, ironically it makes him sound even more incompetent |
