They did. Should be better in year 2. Just leaves you with a Skinner problem. - Lunaion
Yeahhhhhh, that's going to get rough. I do wonder if he can be an Evander Kane type, who plays further down the lineup because he's a one man wrecking crew, and just let him run around vs lesser pairings...worked yesterday anyways. |

I mean giving Peterka the “Ehlers” treatment doesn’t help.
He’s a bonafide 200 foot stud already, start utilizing him like one. - Swedish_Jesus
I was with you like a month ago. He's going to be a great one, I am just not sure his skill set works with Tage/Tuch.
Also don't like seeing Petey away from Quinn if we can help it. They have that synergy. And we know Granato likes his synergy lol. |

I’ll give Donnie credit, I put him on blast for not putting the lines in a blender in Detroit on Saturday when the boys came out flat the final 40 minutes.
Swapping Greenway and Peterka after the first 25 seconds of last nights game sparked the entire lineup and led the comeback.
Just wish Donnie would use his noodle more often and we’d really be getting somewhere |

Spent so much time and energy exposing the frauds that are the Detroit Red Wings that the Capitals flew under the radar.
The worst goal differential to make the playoffs in NHL history is -24, the Caps will regress back to the mean soon enough.
Go 9-3-1 down the stretch and take care of business against the Caps x2, Detroit, NJ, and Philly and the drought is over - Swedish_Jesus
They're firmly in the race and anything is possible at this point. You look at the Bills and they had the same odds to make the playoffs at this point of their season.
What I'm having trouble figuring out is how do the other teams make up the games in hand they have on the Sabres? The Sabres schedule really doesn't lighten up the rest of the season. The other teams that the Sabres are racing must have a few back to backs left. Sweet!

Even if the horseshoe doesn’t fall out of the Capitals ass, Philly looks prime for the taking.
All comes down to Buffalo taking care of their own business.

A) Find a stop gap top 9 C in the instance Krebs doesn’t continue to develop, we can’t have too many good Centers.
B) Another bonafide RHD, if not Joker himself, is needed. - Swedish_Jesus
between savoie, kulich, and rosen
that should fill 2 holes up front
trade for something better than samuelsson to play with power and add a middle 6 guy via free agent with a little grit
hope levi and 6k is ready and grab 2 prospect goalies not over the hill never gonna play in the nhl goalies for rochester so there is some type of depth |

After seeing the type of impact Stankoven has had since being inserted into Dallas’ middle 6, I think Matthew Savoie is going to be the biggest “mid season” move the team has next year.
The Sabres should be able to roll 4 lines next year and have a little bit of everything on each line.
It’s exciting to think about |

The team has an obligation to play players once they're healed.
If anyone thinks Stone is hurt right before the TDL and magically healed every post season, I have many bridges for sale. Please inquire through DMs. Some really nice tied arch ones that would go swimmingly with such a pure gullibility. - QuinnFan
Like I said to Pegulllaville. The NHL obviously doesn't care that much because they haven't done anything about it. "Discussions" are just that. Until they change the rules, or start punishing teams, it's legal. Not facing the doors, and/or talking in an elevator is illegal, but no one's going to write you a ticket for it. |

Slip a doctor a check for 500k to say he is not good enough yet. All good.
What can you do though? Make a league doctor be a part of the decision. Hell stone can just as easily lie during discussions to make things sound worse than they are. |

What time did the Sabres plan get in? Last time they played back to back. They looked dead because they flew in at 4 am |

80 minute flight
any issues would be due to pacifiers being stuck in their mouths |

I think they hate what's happening, but they made a rule that's almost impossible to enforce. Teams have been punished for LTIR abuse, but all that's done is let everyone know not to leave an evidence trail.

Have they? Obviously not severely enough to curtail said behavior. Until it's a 1st round pick, or if said player isn't on the active roster and playing in game 82 they're not eligible for the playoffs. Until something like that happens the abuse will continue. Which means the NHL isn't all that broken up about it. |

It has nothing to do with the penalty and everything to do with the evidence required.
Want a rule change, you have to wait for a new CBA. |
