Place is on life support. Appreciate the people who do post. Lose a couple regulars on here and it will be dead.
Most people aren't as negative as you think. Positive things that people agree on don't generate any discussion. - Lunaion
How many people leave positive reviews compared to negative reviews for anything really?
In general, it is easier to be negative then it is to be effusive with praise. |

I am positive most posters desperately want the Sabres to run like a team actually trying to win vs generate good vibes for players while management is asleep at the wheel and misses how poorly coached this team is this season.
This is what happens when fans see the possibility yet the teams punt on virtually every improvement opportunity.
My personal favorite is Granto's line combination that features washed players in the top 6 even middle 6 when their play is at 13f standards. Glad he got rid of 2 plugs. 1 or 2 more to go need to ask for a trade...seems the only way Kevy will let the washed faithful go...sad way to run an organization.
Second favorite is ignoring AA to determine deployments...Brilliant idea.
And it is blamed on fans for not being positive.
Boss, I am interested in the Q posed about you paying the $5k. I imagine that may cause you to at least dial back on the number of seats, yes? - IonSabres
Sabres only went after “secondary sellers “. Like StubHub or Ticketmaster.
I generally sell my tickets on Facebook marketplace
I’m definitely going to just keep a pair moving forward, the writing is on the wall |

Chychrun hasn’t been great this year either.
And let’s be honest, Adams could have outbid any team in the league for Chychrun if he wanted to.
Holding pat and stealing Byram 12 months later for less then what he would have paid for Chychrun is called good GM’ing - Swedish_Jesus

Maybe it’s Byram or maybe it’s coincidence, but since he came over the Sabres have been executing the mantra of coming up the ice as a 5 man unit damn near flawlessly. - Hatboro_Swords
him and dahlin compliment each other exceptionally well in this system. dahlin uses the body and the puck retrieval, byram gets it the (frank) out. this is why samuelsson is bad with dahlin.

Oh my God! Shut up with this! Chicken man could have been fabulous here. You just don't F@CKING KNOW! YOUR F@CKING POINT IS WORTHLESS - Buff36
Your narrow minded opinion is worthless.
The Sabres are a better team today than they would have been if they made the Chychrun trade.
A humans need for instant gratification is at fault here.
I’ve been trying to tell you all for the better part of 18 months that there is a forest beyond the trees, but I’m fully convinced everyone on here aside from SabresTaco couldn’t see their cocks if they stared directly at the ground.

context is exceptionally important.
The assets are still in the bank. We just have to hope they are used this summer. - TheSabresTaco
Next step is huge. Byram requires a follow-up move or two.
Mitts seems to be forgotten quickly, but he left a big hole.

Actually I am not narrow minded, you actually keep bringing up a point that you don't know would be true! You cannot know for a fact we would not have been better after the trade or at this point. It could have changed the thoughts on the team in the summer with different acquisitions to. Sounds like someone should change his socks. |

word was they were still trying to round out the D and the bottom 6. Sounds like a real focal point for the summer.
Will he? Yeah. Will we like it?
Trades have been good. FA's have sucked.

I'm not going to sit here and pretend this was his plan one year ago and neither should you. He admitted he tried hard to make Chychrun his solution to solidify the D. He attempted again a year later and finally hit it. He's lucky this situation arose, because he's not making this trade with Chychrun here.
By luck, I mean, Colorado STILL needed a 2C, Byram's play/fit in Colorado dipped to a point where Mitts' value matched Byram's. Because last year and this offseason, that simply wasn't true. - TheSabresTaco
His plan for 2 years was to add a top 4 d-man and he hit on the best possible situation he could have landed himself in.
Adams has had two whiffs in the last 24 months. The Erik Johnson signing and his loyalty to the coaching staff.
He’s been absolutely on-point with everything else |

Hindsight is 20/20
If they had traded for chicken boi and made the playoffs no one would care or even know how the draft played out. Levi could have continued his strong play and maybe we were the team to steal the series from Boston. We simply wouldn't be having this discussion, especially if the sabres were in the same position or better this year
Adams still hasnt resolved the goalie position as they are afraid to play comrie when it counts. He signed and resigned players who shouldn't have been id bet that cost us more points this year than chicken being here for 3/4 of the season vs byram for 1/4 gains us |

Erik Johnson made all of his partners skate with one arm behind their backs. Him and Bryson are greater than the sum of the parts.
His confidence is back and now we need Tage to come back. Cozens already did, as I promised!
I said all of Cuck's FA's have sucked. Anderson was ok and he has a chance to hit here on Clifton. So, to be fair.

Yeah we all realized that. But this team was absolute ass with or without that PP.
They are finally playing with the consistent effort and ability most of us knew they had in them. The coach was not extracting that from them until maybe a month or so ago.
And Matt Ellis stinks.

Timing is a big factor as well. Waiting 2 years for a deal he likes won't be an option this summer. He's going to have to do some work under the gun.
