We got rid of a couple plow horses. It is a very different dynamic. Too bad he didn’t realize this sooner. - lulags
He needs a Bulldozer that can skate. He needs another one on Tallness and Tuch's line. Girgensons just isn't it. Greenway seems to have taken that roll with Cozens line. |

Was waiting for you to pipe in.
Remember when I apparently was living with my in-laws because “I was a shill waiting for my father in law to die” because I didn’t want to buy the top of the housing market ?
Your words, not mine.
The average price of a home in London, Ontario is down 28% since the top last February and we are still in the early goings of of stagflation. - Swedish_Jesus

Interesting the diff in CF%, SCF%, HDCF% and HDGA.
Shows that Dahlin and Byram are good, Power on down continue to need work on their HD game. Some of that is also likely explained by who they're playing with.
Does Donnie look at this stuff? |

What’s crazy to me is that Dylan Cozens found Byram Not our General Manager. The player he publicly called out.
Unreal. So, this same GM tried to force Samuelsson to be Dahlin’s long-term partner.

Ryan Johnson should have been given more of a chance. He could be there 2nd best RD if they gave him a fair shot, but it's good to see Power and Joker growing as a pair. Gonna be interesting when Samuelsson comes back, cause him and Power have decent numbers together. Someone is probably gonna have to go, but who is the question because your evaluations on a few players and pairs aren't done. |

Can't believe Detroit has lost 7 in a row, such a beautifully helpful thing to do. |

Remember when we couldn’t get Pat Kane because he wanted to go to a contender?
Imagine him on this team right now, while we’re the team getting hot.
UPL is doing right now what they hoped Levi was going to do last year, let’s see if he can keep it up.
I was at the Colorado game last fall, got to see his shutout. I never thought I would see one in person. I didn’t think he was going to put together this type of season, he far exceeded expectations. Literally did turn into goalie Tage. You have to wait for a goalie to start entering his prime, end of the mid-20’s.
On a random side note, Jost is only 26. He’s our 13th forward for the foreseeable future, imo. |

I think Philly, NYI and Detroit crumble down the stretch.
Washington and Buffalo can make a run, here. |

Islanders and Buffalo are the only teams in this little group with a winning record in there last 10
NY: 6-4
Detroit: 3-7
TB: 5-5
Washington: 5-5
Buffalo: 6-4
Last 3 games have been huge for the Sabres, especially with Detroit falling apart. |

This Western Trip will have a huge impact.. both during the trip, and for a game or two after returning.
Their remaining schedule is brutal. |

So he's a decent 14 minute a night D, nothings changed with him. |

Did Okposo and Erik Johnson really hold this team back that badly?
I get the wings islanders aren’t the best teams ever. But Idk. Just a thought
Wonder what the analytics are post deadline - Sabretooth9
Yes, this Sabres team "seems" to be much faster post deadline. Take Mitts out who played too much on the boards and the North headed game seems to be back. |

Small sample size, but I'm wondering if Slumper was right yesterday and the team really is starting to find their identity. Been steadily getting better every game since the Mitts trade IMO.
What a game by Sorokin though, could've been 7 or 8 to zip.
Benson is really earning his keep now. Confidence is growing by leaps and bounds.
Bryson >>> Eric Johnson
Was Clifton's problem that he was paired with EJ? He's been a lot better of late as well.
Another tough game for Krebs. Got robbed by Sorokin twice, but he's playing scared right now. Losing pucks because he's bracing for hits. Not as bad as the Detroit game, but not looking good for a couple games now. |

Clifton is finally playing like a 3rd pair guy. Hopefully he keeps it up. - Buff36
That's all well and good, but feels like they signed him hoping he could be a quality 2nd pair player. |

That said about Krebs, Sorokin made an unreal save or Krebs has a goal last night.

While that's better then what he was trending like earlier in the season, they really need to stop overpaying bottom pair defenders. |
