General Manager Patrik Allvin announced today that F Dakota Joshua has been placed on LTIR retroactively and G Arturs Silovs has been recalled from Abbotsford (AHL) under emergency conditions.

Makes sense as he is the most likely to get the backup role when ready.
Maybe next year or more likely year after.

I’m not sure if he’ll see any game action.
Hopefully not.

Silovs contract is up at the end of this year though whereas Tolopilo signed for 950k

Silovs is terrible. He's getting way outplayed by Tolopilo. Silovs is up to sit on the bench. I don't see him as the future back up at all.

His injury is longer term than Myers so that makes sense. I'm sure they want Dakota back in the line up as soon as possible. He (frank)ed his hand in that fight and it needs more time than what ever tweak Myers had unfortunately.

These injuries are all following the expected timelines.
