Ullmark vetoed you see that? That’s crazy. Refused LA. That had to be for Dubois or Danault right?

Probably PLD, seems there was friction there with him.

The 180 that team made from the start of the year til now is quite crazy. We were flirting with it ourselves for a minute until we came out of the all-star break in solid form.

It felt so long to get this to a “team”. It was so jumbled and injuries crept in, it was hard to really get a team identity with the group of guys that weren’t cutting it. Pitlicks, Boninos, etc. now it feels like a TEAM. I like what he did

Calling it now, Roslovic re-signs

I’m hopeful as well. He’s still young enough to figure it out. Also, he grew up in Columbus Ohio. I’m sure some players can succeed being surrounded by family and friends constantly, but most probably find it distracting.

Excited for a different look to the team tomorrow. Gimme a Mika goal from Roslovic.

I remember when he was in WPG they were raving about him as a prospect. I think he’s going to be a very good addition next to Kreider and Zib.

Here’s to hoping Roslovic’s Rangers tenure goes similar to Brassard. Former 1st rd pick, never really lived up to the hype, moving from CBJ to NYR around the same age leads to career numbers.

Agreed.

I’m still not convinced Drury was advised (uhmm) not to move the 1st pick.

I’m also shocked JD made a deal with Drury.

Good thing about both Wennberg and Rosolovic is both are vey good skaters.

So then we'll trade him on a high and belly never match that performance. Got it

All teams have bad streaks/poor play throughout the year. Its how you play coming out of those streaks that defines you.

When I digest the moves that were made Drury did well for the trades he executed on.

Objectively he failed at adding a true RW on the top line and the contenders elsewhere really improved their roster. The Rangers marginally improved but added some nice depth. On paper is it enough to really compete with the canes, Vegas, and Florida is the question. Didn’t mortgage the future at all which is nice since they will have to retool after 2026

I would grade the tdl a C

- nyrangers2

He did add a RW, not that elusive RW1. There arent that many out there to begin with and the fact that Guentzel was available was insane. Nobody knows what was offered or proposed but you would have to think if the Pens really turned down KK over the Canes offer you would have to think twice? KK is not living up to the hype yet but he is definitely a NHL player. Excellent defensive player, we complain about his numbers but there is a stark contrast in the Rangers won/lost with him in the lineup.

As side from Jake, there really wasnt any other bonafide RW out there to be had.

I really dont think there was a deal out there where a 1st rounder was the cost

This is gonna be one of his best trades ever when all is said and done. Has a Vatrano vibe to it. Very under the radar

when you look at their draft cupboard the next 3 years, it's getting pretty barren, ultimately I think it's a wise thing anyway that we still have our first this year

Roslovic CAN be good when he decides he wants to try. It just doesn't happen very often.

Wrong and you should be embarrassed. You have brought shame to your family. Roslovic will play on line1
