The key to this team now, imo, is rotating the two big guys game to game. Having both is detriment but one or the other could work well, play Rempe if you expect rough stuff, or Edstrom for little more of a defensive game. Rempe seems a step behind playing reliable defense, but you can see how valuable he might be. He’ll be huge X factor if he develops

This puts JBrod/Goodrow/Vesey a scratch nightly. They may try different combos

When I digest the moves that were made Drury did well for the trades he executed on.

Objectively he failed at adding a true RW on the top line and the contenders elsewhere really improved their roster. The Rangers marginally improved but added some nice depth. On paper is it enough to really compete with the canes, Vegas, and Florida is the question. Didn’t mortgage the future at all which is nice since they will have to retool after 2026

I would grade the tdl a C

and... a stache.

Happy to express that the Devils were the biggest losers. They gave up one of their better scorers significantly weakening their offense and STILL didn't grab a legit goalie. Do you think for a moment that any of the 100 Devils fans out there is excited about today?
