Toffoli and Guentzal are great finishers. But that would mean Petey would have to do most of the work to set them up including retrieving the puck. Where as Hogs and Pods are the skilled workers that can get the puck, set up, and capable to finish too. They may complete Petey more.

Not Canucks problem unless they meet only one of them in the WCF. I’d be ecstatic about that for Canucks season.

Also looking what centers were traded Lindy was the best outside of Hertl. Of course Hertl is on LTIR so who knows how long it will take for him to adjust by the time he gets back in. We know Lindy is getting there and that took a month plus.

Cooley is really starting to come into his own and Conor Geekie is lighting it up in Swift Current right now for the Broncos, big 6'4" center with skill, gotta love it.

Did you know when the Red Wings won the Stanley Cup in 2008 they had nine Swedes in their lineup, one of whom won the Conn Smythe Trophy. I think you're barking up the right tree with your management group and all the talented Swedes you're bring in. Well done!!

There were nine of them but Ericsson and Ritola didn't play in the playoffs as they were quite young at the time. Ericsson went on to have a great career with the Wings after that first year in the league.

You're such a drama queen, the Canucks have, what, three Swedes on their team up until they traded for Lindholm? Every year Swedes help Canadians and Americans realize their dream of winning the Cup. Pettersson is the only one of real value that will help bring the Canucks playoff success.

Kinda like William Karlsson did for Vegas for their Cup, Landeskog did for the Avs Cup, Hedman (Conn Smythe) did for the Lightning for their Cups in 2020 & 2021, Backstrom did for the Caps for their Cup....you get the picture.
