I had heard yesterday that since signing EL he has been on the road living from a suitcase. His family was still in Cgy. He was basically making an adjustment.

Family now moved into new house in Vancouver just recently and he is just starting to feel comfortable.

I heard also yesterday that since they got him that Canucks are the top FO team on the dot. Lindholm leading the numbers. He looked good with Garland and Podz.

It’s been a whirlwind of change for Lindholm on and off the ice. He was traded while on a flight back from Mexico during the All-Star break. He then had to rush to Toronto for the weekend All-Star Game festivities before immediately joining the Canucks on the road in Raleigh. With a road-heavy February schedule, Lindholm hasn’t had a chance to get many practices under his belt and until recently was living in a hotel when the team was home in Vancouver.

“I was away from my family for almost a month, so that was kind of tough,” said Lindholm. “But now we’re settled, moved into a place and my family’s in town as well. It’ll be nice to get back to (Vancouver) and settle in a little more, see my family.”

Lindholm also noted the system differences in Vancouver compared to Calgary.

“Here, I think we’re more free, work hard, finish hits and make plays,” he said. “In Calgary, it was really ‘Follow the system.’ I think it’s more free here but it’s definitely some changes that took a little bit to get used to. But now I’ve played 15 games, so I feel pretty comfortable.”

I think we'll see him get better down the stretch.

He's being scratched in Calgary now, kids great if he's in an offensively free environment but he just won't follow any sort of defensive system. Getting rid of him was a great get out of jail free card. Brilliant work by Allvin!!

Does anyone feel like us not getting Jake or Buchenvich or anyone else avail (based off prices) says that Management doesn't want to blow their load with Vegas doing what there are doing? Who thinks they will come back down to earth in a year or two with everything going on?

There should be some wait and see on Hunter being a C prospect. He's having an amazing draft +1 season and is a RHD which always has more value..

If the Canucks are going to beat Vegas it was always and is still going to be on the back of Demko's play, so nothing has changed there imo

Love it - i'm personally pumped they didnt blow anymore picks (what few we have left) and we didn't part with any of the swedish kids, Sass, Bains, Pods, Karlsson, Raty - all players that we will desperately need their contracts next year.

There wasnt one player on the TDL list that I was interested in - really happy they stuck with the team they got. Having Soucy and Joshua healthy will make this team a powerhouse. Hopefully Lindholm, Bluegar, Suter, Milky can get going a little bit.

BTW - really great to hear Brisebois is back staking with the team and hopefully returning to Abby soon.

It's going to fall apart at some point. Unless they just continuously throw their picks at vets and never draft anyone, and then once they age out put their contracts on LTIR and continue the process.
