Goes back to my assessment of a Buch trade, trading them now would have easily got them maximum return. Trading them next year when theyre pending UFA's will without a doubt get them less of a return.

NHL Gm's (Vegas and Colorado not withstanding). Cowards.

I would have given up a two 1sts or a 1st and Othmann, plus Robertson, to get Buch with 50% retention.

This was the most the Blues would have ever gotten for Buch, if they try to trade him at the deadline next year, they will not get this value.
