Maybe. At least these guys have offensive upside even if they may not pan out. Kakko is who he is and that’s a defensive forward. I don’t care about defensive forwards during a rebuild.

He's a rental that reportedly doesn't want to extend with the team trading for him. So a middle 6 winger decent PP guy , a 1st (because they're going to finals) , three prospects and a 5th isn't that bad. How couldn't other teams not beat that though? 🤔

I didn't think we'd get a top prospect, but feels like a fail not to at least get a first. Curse DK for the false info on Morrow. I'd have still rather kept Jake, but at least been excited for him.

We have the rigging of the lottery to look forward to as well. Unless the league wants to give Chicago B2B first overall picks, PIT is the most attractive team, minus MTL that just got a #1, to hand the pick to in the top 10.

The Ty Smith thing actually bugs me because he was the centerpiece of the Marino deal
