Where’s he saying that

insider David Pagnotta reported that teams have been calling Arizona about forward Lawson Crouse. He also noted that Nick Bjugstad and Alex Kerfoot are garnering interest as well.

Thats it? That couldnt be the only part of the trade. As a fan Id be annoyed they turned that down.

Kakko for Henrique...even swap for a UFA for an RFA

Vatrano for a 1st.

What else would you expect? Glad Drury said no. Giving up Kakko for Vatrano just opens up another hole at RW. Kakko still has plenty of upside. Would prefer a young player who plays a 200ft game and a beast in the corners, who just needs a boost in confidence, over a youngster who has 20 goals and is a defensive liability. Kakko ain't gonna be a 40 goal scorer, but if he can continue to grow and become a 20-25 goal scorers 50pt. guy..fine by me. Also, he will only require a mid 2m AAV

You have to wonder if Drury could trade the pick for Vatrano straight up , why would he turn that down?

I think it's still possible that's what happens, but he could be waiting on Guentzel first

Yea Emily Kaplan has been dialed in on the rangers so far. If she is saying they still have a great change at Guentzel I believe it. Makes sense Drury is waiting

I don’t think the return will be as crazy because hanafin really didn’t go for as much as people expected. And it was a quick pivot to Vegas out of nowhere so they took the best deal you figure

Id trade Kakko in a deal for Crouse. If we can swing something to get both Crouse and Bjugstad that would be nice.

Just seems weird getting a player and asking him to play a different position. That has to mess with a mindset of a player, no? It's like trading for Ovechkin and asking him to play C or RW.

Alex Wennberg played over 20 minutes in Seattle's 2-1 game 7 win over the Avalanche in the first round last year

I'm happy he's been part of such a big time win so recently

Double gut punch for mickey8. So whomever the Rangers get for RW has to wear #88.
