Now idk what to think. Tony gunk says she said it 5 min earlier than that clip. Whatever it’s nothing until it’s something anyway

I wonder if this happening…they have a deal in principle and Jake has the final say if he extends or not. If he doesn’t and says I’m waiting til FA then no deal
- Slimtj100

Possible.

I think it’s very safe to say, one of Gruntzel, Vatrano or Buch will be a Ranger at this time tomorrow.

I just don’t know how Othman and a 1st is enough. Especially when the canes have a lot to offer

Maybe Chris has two offers

One with Kakko, and an extension

One without an extension, nor Othmann. I still don’t believe he’d trade Othmann for a rental. I just don’t believe it. It was his first draft pick

It’s possible they don’t get him if they don’t tho

I think he would lose it even better if Drury just held and let the deadline pass.
- JRR1285

I think we have 2 incoming options for RW:

either Tuch or Buch

The only question is: which D-man is coming to solidify our 3rd pairing?

Just caught up on all the comments.
My view: if the cost for Buch is two firsts and it comes with 50% retention, you go in that direction. He is signed for next year, he is a true right winger and can play in NY. Plus, you keep Kakko on the third line and retain your two best prospects. Make the first rounder a few years down the road

Nobody. The 6 d you see are the 6 d who will dress game one of the playoffs.

It’s a ridiculous overpay for a guy we can at MAX get 48 games from. That’s if he plays every remaining game and every playoff series goes 7.

I’m with you Jan. The 2 first would probably be much lower in the order. Don’t want to deal with Pitt and have our players come back and haunt us.

I’m a little more comfortable with the Buch scenario, but not crazy about it. End of the day it’s probably the one I’d do (2 firsts for Buch 50% retained) but man does that suck we got a 2nd and Blais for Buch and now have to give up 2 firsts to get him back. In reality, STL has done very well off of us (1st+ for Tank and Mikkola) and now potentially 2 more 1sts.

If St. Louis is serious about moving Buch, he won’t be in the lineup tonight.

Is he playing?
