Somebody paid for that. Think about that possibly. Willingly giving out money for that auto correct/type-o.

What do you get for paying for this site that we who don’t get? Like lunch with Ek or something not money well spent I gather

Curious amount of griping over the return for Tarasenko. His family is in Florida and he has a full No Move Clause. Under the circumstances I think Ottawa did pretty well.

If they got Jake without giving up othmann or Perrault, and they extended him upon arrival, I think it’s a pretty big win for Drury. That cures a lot of ills for at least 3 years in the top 6. Mix match in the bottom 6 with ELCs and guys we have now
- Slimtj100

IDK man, he's going to want a LOT of $$$. All the reports also say that he wants to test free agency.

I know they really can’t do that then. Keeping him would be the only way I think. You never know. He knows we’re good and we wouldn’t short change him. Kakko is gonna get money anyway so is that money well spent as opposed to Jakes? I don’t think so

He isn’t getting Reinhart money

You figure Kakko 3.5..goodrow off the books and the cap lift…equals Jake money maybe even less. Like 8-9 mill AAV for Jake?

I think the first sentence is the precluding factor

I don't see kakko getting that much. His minimum qualifier is only 2.6 mil i think based on previous discussions, so I don't see how he'd get close to 3.5 based on the year he's had. Drury has been good with the RFA extensions (kaako/laf/chytil/miller), so i think we're going to get kakko for less than expected if he's still here and re-signed.

The Pens arent dealing him to the Rangers. Same way Sid will not sign when he leaves.

yea maybe. I figured go high end for the exercise. I don’t think re-signing would be difficult on the cap is my point. Him agreeing pre FA tho is another matter

Friedman says I'm under the impression that Vancouver doesn't feel like they can win the Guentzel trade race... People are waiting to see how Carolina feels and if they want to make a push.

Must be nice to be Chris Drury.

Friedman on NYR/Guentzel (TJMS): “They can definitely do it, there’s no question about that. The only thing that I can say about that is that the Rangers may be more interested in spending their biggest assets on a centre”

Sources say #Oilers and #NHLDucks are finishing off a deal that will send Adam Henrique and Sam Carrick to Edmonton.

There is salary retention involved, as well as a third party broker. Some moving parts to this one.
