Predators listening on pending UFA D Alexandre Carrier. All options remain: sign him to extension (still talking), traded if offer makes too much sense, or he's an own-rental.
Pending UFA forward Yakov Trenin also generating interest. Doesn't mean Nashville moves him.

Some Decent players being released around the NFL, Beane could fill some areas down the road with a decent player and price. Hope Adams is taking notes how to readjust your Team as you go. And just cause you Like someone, it's still a business and when the time comes the Hatchet needs to be weilded.

Heard they are working on Espenza, some of that cap savings won't be available until June though.

I think a couple of these guys (poyer/hyde/tre) may resign after June 1st for a lesser role and lesser $

Josh's rework will be coming soon 22.7mill in Cap Savings, he's banging Haille in France at the moment, and I think they extend Dawkins 2 more years and free up 8mill more.

the last 13 years of sabres hockey is ruining the game more IMO

side note bush looked good for the leafs last night

a healthy bush is better than a joker or clifton

- homiedclown

Disagree, it's the draft lottery's addition that ruined us. McDavid should be a Sabre.

I will die on this hill lol.

Beane has a bunch of different options when it comes to restructuring deals.

Allen
diggs
Dawkins
Milano
Knox

The salary cap should be no problem freeing up money

I’m sorry but it went from not wanting to pay a 3C 7 million but needing a partner for Power, who will bridge 2 years for 5 million before needing 7 million and that’s not good enough because we could have gotten Licorice for the same price?

Whats the real issue here, guys? We still have to trade Mittelstadt if we have Chicken-Man because of the money and depth at C.

This team has gone as far as it can go with Terry. Why make moves if the outcome will be the same just with different players.
- SABRES 89

It’s been the same since Terry bought the team. Nothing will change with his meddling ass and cheap front office / coaching staff

I said the same thing yesterday essentially. It’s a number game and blah blah blah

Agreed, was just saying with the amount of decent players being released. Beane should be able to fill some areas down the road with a decent player at a good price.

That was on Cozens just as much as Skinner
- Buff36

Not even close.

The pass doesnt even get made if Skinner takes his head out of his ass and plays some frankin hokcey

Victor Olofsson is riding a four-game point streak (3+2) against the Predators and he has tallied six points (4+2) in his last six games against Nashville. A point in tonight’s game would give Olofsson the longest point streak ever by a Sabres skater against Nashville.

but it got made and cozens did nothing

if 6k cost us a playoff spot last season, cozens easily cost us that game

maybe we traded the wrong center

That's what I don't get, and sorry I was off a few 100 grand on the QO. It could cost as much to keep Bryam as it would have Casey if he stays healthy and grows his game.
- Buff36

Interesting thing is that he is projected as as Top 4 Damn, exactly what we were looking for as a result of a Mitts trade.
The difference is the immediate impact of Byram while he grows into that profile versus having acquired a current Top 4 Damn.
So, they bought low as I don't think Mitts alone could have acquired that desired return.
Top 4 guys gonna get paid.
They will need to lower costs on 3rd Pairing, might be Prospects on ELC's

Sabres issue will soon be having $7.3 - $8m+ tied up in 3rd Pairings if Sammy and Joker are the designated guys there. That is too much.

In time, I would hope it to be
Byram - Dahlin
Power - R Johnson
ELC - Vet Min

The next two off seasons, Adams will need to move Sammy & Joker and maybe Cliffy. Replace with cheeper guys.

Have No issue other than his Concussion history. He's a good player when Healthy. Still gonna cost to keep just like Chickenman. And it was a bit different back then, Casey hadn't improved yet.
