For the record, I don’t hate the return on paper, it’s a former 4oa, 22-year old defender who played 20 minutes a night at high altitude.

I don’t know what else was truly out there at this point.

Adams swings for the fences.

We have been hammering the guy for his lack of top 4 d-man acquisition.

High risk, high reward deal but at least we don’t have to hear about the guy being risk averse anymore.

My 2 cents on Mitts.

Very soft player: Always has been, always will be.
He will be offensively successful in Colorado. How can you not be?
He will likely win a cup in the next year or so
Wish we got more for him, but not sad to see him go.

Swing for the fences? Not exactly trading your organization for Draisatl

I like it. I’m not even mad.

Byrum is 21 or 22. It’s not like he’s a 28 year old bust.

He’s going through it like power is right now.

If Byram fails KA wont be here anyway.

If he is successful no one will care about this trade.

KA took his shot. Lets see how it plays out Cotton

Well, we can say one thing today...

Adams made a real move. Whether it works out or not, he did pull his head out of the sand for a moment.

Not happy with the Bills losing Bates. O line was Ultra Healthy last year. This year nobody will be able to stay healthy and OLine will be the downfall or reason they lose to the Chiefs in the playoffs.

Bills opened up 37 mill in space.

They are still over by 3 million.

Restructure Allen and a couple others. You will have 30 mill in space ++ easily

Beane has a plan and it starts with the house cleaning.

Shocked about morris though

- Sabretooth9

Can get a center far cheaper than that. He's good but we are in cap hell. For the people who claim cap isn't real, they don't really understand it.

Haven't even included Josh's yet. That will be 22.7mill by itself.

"Freeing" up cap space just pushes it to another year, piper needs to get paid eventually

I dont hate this trade but its a big TBD. Alot of that is based on adams, not just byram himself. The optics are not great though

Barely average sized puck moving defenseman who has never come close to playing a full season(might come close this year)

He makes our team younger, not something anyone should be interested in. When does that excuse become invalid if adams keeps building it into the roster?

Does he clear the net? Or know how to tie his man up in front? This coaching staff doesn't know how to get our current defensemen to do it so if he doesn't do it on his own it's another massive question mark

I want to like it. Byram is talented and I've been of the belief that mitts was a goner. Did not want picks or prospects for him. I think mitts is going to keep getting better and surely being in a competent organization cant hurt him

This trade didnt need to be made today, there are so many pieces that can be packaged with or without mitts to help make this team better that won't deplete our prospect pool. Adams has alot of work to do

Trade 21 28 and 6 just get them out of here and id be happy with the deadline

rip the bandaid off like Broncos did. cut Diggs and Miller. Bills need to go GreenBay route with young buck wr's. Wonder if Bills could trade 1st round pick to Washington for their 2 2nd rounders. Draft chart shows advantage Bills, but it is a 1st round that gives the 5 year option. Would allow them to draft 2 young buck wr's and still get a d lineman or whatever else with their own 2nd.
