This fan base is in absolute brain mush mode.

More futures would kill whatever is left of this franchise.

Can't believe some of you are actually serious. What would ASP and first set up in the future other than another rebuild

You think Kulich is a Center in the NHL?

Yeah, I think so but time will tell. If not...

Peyton Krebs has looked great there.

I'm not seeing it re: Kulich playing Center, and definitely not in his rookie NHL season.

Think Savoie has a better shot right of the bat then Kulich does. Losing Peca hurt that.IMO

The Sabres trade deadline drama revolves around:

- trading a broken depth d-man Erik Johnson (35)
- trading a depth bottom forward in Kyle Okposo (35)
- trading a depth bottom forward in Zemgus Girgensons, 0 playoff games played during a decade long tenure (30)
- Joker a depth dman (24)
- Comrie a back up AHL goalie (28)

Unlikely to happen:
- Mitts (even though the GM admits to wanting to sign him and this deal makes more sense in the offseason) (25)

Does Adams trade away prospects...in the same season he said he would not block them?

Good luck believing in baldy.

I think they will try him there first and put him back if he falters. If they saw him as a winger, I'd think he'd get more time there down on the farm. Then again, he did play wing during his call up so you might be right.

I'm back to being worried about Savoie. Watched a full Moose game and he generates mostly from the rush. He isn't playing a pro game yet despite the production.

What would playing a pro game mean and look like?

I've never been a big fan or believer of him.

I was really underwhelmed, but this is what I saw:

He's out of position a lot and doesn't get low enough in the d-zone for a center. His passing is accurate but not nearly hard enough to not produce a lot of turnovers at the pro level. Generates more off the rush than he does by possessing the puck in the o-zone. He's a great forechecker, but when he does win battles he's trying to do it all himself instead of using his teammates.

A pro game would involve positioning, utilizing linemates and playing the system to produce chances rather than relying on a pass after exploding out from the d-zone for a fast break.

The CHL rule is really hurting him as he's spending more time developing bad habits IMO.

I mean Adams hasn鈥檛 shown the ability to buy yet.

They are a bad team allegedly selling off their captain for most likely futures.

I would not put it past this team to acquire more picks and prospects and watch 90% of this fanbase gush about the potential player they could get with the mid-late first.

Well of course you would have to Add to Mitts to get Seider. But that wasn't the proposal and I highly doubt Detroit would even do that! Don't know why you are calling me a idiot when Seider is probably as untouchable to them as Dahlin is to us.
Would you trade Dahlin for Mitts and a late 1st ?

Depending on how games go tonight, it could be possible for Chicago to be eliminated from playoff contention on Thursday.

For comparison, Columbus, the last place team in the east, can still technically win the Presidents' Trophy.

The #Seahawks are releasing three-time Pro Bowl safeties Jamal Adams and Quandre Diggs, per sources.

The moves save $27.5 million in cash and significant cap space for Seattle, which will look a lot different in the Mike Macdonald era.

Right. I know the game, mention a name, get slammed. If they are talking to Detroit, imagine his name has come up.
