RT has been upfront & honest since arriving. He’s demanding cuz he knows how tough it is to get to & stay up top as an elite team. He’s driven & won’t ever change. His passion for hockey is obvious & doesn’t ask for more that what he reasonably expects of any player. Each player he treats differently as he should. He’s great at being real & fair assessing what players can be & preaches team hockey & dedication to all of his non negotiables. He sets the bar.

Season after season we as fans have complained about the "country club". I'm glad those days are over. Saying that, if I see those old habits creep back in (even for a game or two) it needs to be identified and the one's guilty of it shamed unmercifully.

I think I have earned that right as a fan. Especially when I was a financial investor in the product.

No, just you because someone needs to balance out all your canuck knob-gobbling. So much gobbling you're unable to see poor, undisciplined play. Take a break from it and watch the games.

And there it is... 1st place team... best season in almost 15 years so far and you need to balance out the people who are cheering too much...

For what it's worth, I do see poor undisciplined play but like RT says, and I agree... teams go through struggles in a 82 game schedule. Let's not quickly forget that you lectured us that teams like Boston don't go through these things and step it up for big games, that's what separates them from us. Yet they are mirroring the Canucks but slightly worse even.

He might as well stop watching the sport altogether. Pretty much every Hockey game played has poor undisciplined play. The game itself is predicated on it.

Yes, and those who do get called out. It's not personal, think of it as a performance review. What's so wrong about that?

Not giving up on the team, no quitting from me. Just want to voice my opinion. Fuck you if you don't agree with it.

Wrong. You definitely talked about teams stepping up for the big games and used Boston as an example. Yet Boston has been poopting the bed against good and bad teams for weeks.

Like how you bolded half a sentence to change context and then called bullpoop. Typical...

You just got played by Bloated who cut a sentence in half so he could deny.

More people than just me remember you at one point wanting to cut Miller loose.

Cool. I've been unconscious on the couch with the flu the last couple days. My head is still pounding. Just thought I'd pop in to see what's up before my next pill. I'll leave you boys to it.

No, you're getting old Booner and your comprehension of the conversation is just plain wrong. I was talking about the canucks sloppy, lazy play in an important game against the literal top two teams in the league. There's history there as well. No need for me to set the stage.

That Feb 8th game was 4-0, 17 shots against, with two short handed goals. That's a fucking no-show.

But your fanboy ass is going to troll me over my criticism of poor play while waving Saturday's 3-2 overtime win as some sort of victory for you. Not the same thing.

Typical Booner.

I broke it down for you multiple times. Top teams still go through poor stretches. You are worried about what you've seen lately but Canucks have dealt with it less than teams that are considered contenders. It's wasn't as bad as you were projecting. You made a comment about it being why the Canucks are still not contenders... well if they are dealing with less of the same issues as the teams that are considered contenders by you... then your argument is moot.

You completely down play the win against Boston the other day but it busted your narrative. The Canucks did step up their game for a top team they had history with. Just like they did with the Rangers as well... Is it going to happen every time, no. They had a stinker in that first match up. They redeemed themselves as far as your Bruins narrative goes. They played hard and won.

Pretty underwhelming return for Calgary on the Tanev trade.
Their GM reminds me of Benning.
All talk. No savvy.

Exactly. I'm not looking for wins every night. I'm looking for consistent, aggressive play. The country club, mailing it in can not become a part of this team's culture again. It funny because different regimes have come and gone saying the same old talk about commitment, blah, blah, blah.

I hope (and it looks like it does) this version of management is faithful to the cause of obtaining a cup.

👍👍

I’m definitely outspoken & have no problems critiquing what I don’t like. I’m no lesser a fan for it rather I see it as necessary for any team to expect the highest standards if going to win a cup. I will back off when players or the team plays to the level they are capable of. Cannot never rest & or be satisfied when it’s so difficult to win the cup.
