As most here know, I am not a fan of Pouty, but, the kid has been very good in about 25 games, and good in about another 15 or so, he just has not been that decent in the past 20 or so games.

When he was playing well, he was not just getting points, he was being physical, playing well defensively and was skating well. Sure is hasn't been very good for the last little bit, but all players go through slumps, including the 2 best in the world, MacKinnon and McDavid.

Yup. I having always liked seeing teams bring up some of their better prospects for a handful of games. They did it with Karlsson earlier, now Bains, not sure if Podkolzin will get a shot, maybe they want to give him the Hoglander experience of finishing the year in the minors.

For me, I just want them to do what will help this team get out of their troubles. As you can see, there are people in here that are heaping it all on one player but it's all through the line up. I'd like to see a more experienced call up right now.

He hasn’t been playing poorly, he’s just not racking up 20 points in 10 games like everyone thinks he should. He has 10 points in his last 10 games, while averaging 19:08 in ice time, 50.5% on the dot and he’s +3….not exactly terrible, just not brilliant.

Yup. Soften up the fortress. I don't think skating directly into it has been overly successful either.
