Demko has played 10/12 and needs a rest. Have to get DeSmith some time in goal or Demko will get burned out like Sutter did to Markstrom in Calgary.

Canucks aren't allowed to circumvent the cap. But Vegas and Tampa no problem.

DeSmith lately has been shaky. The Wild game might have burned his confidence.

Seriously though the schedule gets more spaced out for March so don’t think they’ll change much on starting Demko.

He got torched for 8 against in his last game on Feb. 19 Canucks have played only 4 games since so it really hasn't been that long. Games are spaced out nicely now, but maybe DeSmith could get back in against the Ducks on Sunday bloody Sunday.
