Granato has no idea how to build lines or gameplay. Do we have 7 shots on goal? Crazy through half of game.

Do you really think a NHL Coach would tell players not to go to a area where 50% of the goals are scored. That's the Hockey players they have and drafted, it's in there scouting reports. You Draft a Soft Talented Perimeter team you get a Soft Perimeter team.

We've seen this a lot over the years. You can try to coach it, but perimeter players usually just revert back to who they are. This is what they built.

I think the coach needs to drive this home. If players do not listen, it then becomes an accountability issue. He holds nobody accountable for anything they do. Not sure how you change this other than getting players not afraid to go to the net.

Coach is probably easier in a Cap era. But they definitely need to add a bulldozer or 2
