I just want to hear his points on why it's bad. Maybe it is a bit of a overpay, and I would hate to lose Power. But LD is a strong point in the Organization and much easier to find than Top pair RD making 4.6mill for 3 more years.

I think you are a idiot, Tkachuk would be the perfect fit for this Team. He would bring attributes this Team desperately needs and score 80 to 90 points a Year. Zub is a much better Dman at this point than Power is and at a Premium position that is Very hard to find and get. Yes I would hate to lose Power but LD are much much easier to replace.

Guys who don't take players out of the play, who don't play tough on the boards to gain possession, who play perimeter hockey full of low danger shots, who don't tie players up in front, who let their goalie get run, who run to the bench when play get heavy...and on and on.

I know it's a lot, and hurts. But it also adds 2 pieces that could help our Team immensely. Sabres have the prospect pool to withstand not having the 1st rnd pick for a Year. Plus they still have enough in the pipeline where they could still add if need be.

the big issue I would have, Tkachuk is gone in 4 years under every circumstance on this planet


that is the only issue I have with it

quinn, injury prone
mitts , can take it or leave it as we have cozens, tage and a zillion blue chip prospects still
top 10 pick, not going to be close to what tkachuk brings in 9 out of 10 cases

same for cozens when he was a -19 a few years ago

casey was never a plus player before this year, guess he never played d either


teams that suck will have lower plus minuses as their better players are on the ice when empty net goals are scored and short handed goals are scored
