K-Town was definitely fun. I had more fun in Waterloo though. Lots of friends at Laurier and went there at least once a month for a few years. Lots of Keg Parties end up at the Bomber or Loose Change Louies.
Had a couple of epic Oktoberfest nights there too. - jribout
Oh Waterloo I hit up too and it was probably 2nd on my list, London a close 3rd.
My buddy at Queens lived in Rez in first year and then shared a house with like 10 guys in the "student ghetto" in his 2nd and 3rd years so we were always in the heart of the party. Wild times back then!

Getting there sucked. 5 of us in an Astro mini van with the back seat bench removed so it could be loaded with gear. Piano seat between the two front seats. Holy poop I didn’t care about the money at that point, I just made sure that giving me beer when I could drink it was involved lol. |

The band I was in was based out of London but has a guy from that area singing/guitar work. Called the dirty love band. Had fun with them, glad I recorded the album, but happy I left too, the guy in the video isn’t me but it’s me playing bass in the recording lol |

I had to do that trip 10-20 times a year for sports. But not that crammed.

I could have drove my own vehicle as well but the money that band earned went into the band without us being paid. So why would I? lol
Indie band life can be a blast that way.. is it fun? Hell yeah. Do you earn much? No. Depending on style and gear anyways. |

I'm not going back through 12 pages of unread posts, so if I missed something critical, please fill me in. I'm gonna just assume it was the usual mix of cheering, jeering, and poopposting.

Man rewatched some of those goals because I am getting old and losing my memory, but I swear some of the takes on here are getting even more ridiculous. Just reaching for attention or trying to start an argument. I will say Marner might have set a record tonight for longest combined distance from the net on 2 assists. I think he was inside his own hashmarks on both of his touches that led to secondary assists.
Hope he can stay hot though and continues to come back deep in the zone. - jribout
Leafs on a great run since the suspension. The change from 2C to 3C for Tavares has been really successful. All four lines were very good. Domi had his best game this year and looks to be a good partner for Nylander. Bertuzzi looking much better as well. Have to start talking about a top nine for this team. Lots of positives. Matthews, Marner and Knies on an amazing roll.

Marner was amazing last night, one the best players on the ice.
Hes had a slow start and off year but 13 assist in the past 5 games is nuts, i believe he broke a leafs record for most consecutive multi game apples (heard on the radio). Crazy.
Matthews with 10 goals amd 13pts in that stretch as well. Crazy
Willie with 5 goals and 9pts in that stretch. Pretty darn good.
The top 3 are flying.
Now do it in the playoffs
Leafs simply need a top rhd D. Doesnt have to be tanev |

Too bad there's no loan system in the NHL, like in EFL soccer.
We could give up a mid level pick or prospect to Nashville, for a few months of Luke Schenn Part 3, then after the playoffs, he could go back to Nashville and continue to be over paid.
The way the team is playing, I wouldn't make more than one add at the deadline. Grab a new 2nd best D-man, and roll with what you have. |
