I mean to be honest the best thing that can happen for us is Jake gets traded for a huge amount. Then he sucks on another team and resigns with us in the offseason.

I wish some of these trade rumors were true. One has Karlsson going to Ottawa.

Montreal as the Guentzel landing spot for Jordan Harris, top prospect Joshua Roy, and Winnipeg’s 2024 first-round pick (owned by Montreal) in exchange for Guentzel and defenseman Ryan Graves.

Damn I’d do those. But they need to include both xekaj brothers.

Yohe was just on Madden.

Said the return for Guentzal might be higher than people are expecting. He's heard from a bunch of people that Guentz is the player everybody wants. Especially the west. Might be a bidding war for him.

Also said... Sid and Sullivan are very close and those 3 don't want to play for another coach.

Another thing he mentioned was the Pens NEVER practice 3v3. For those of us who wonder why they suck so bad at it.....that's probably the reason.

To be fair, blocking out Hextall's run seems like a good life choice.

Hopefully he gets called up nd they can send make-a-wish down.

Can't be worse than the other crap they've thrown in the lineup

Maybe it's all a scam. Hear me out:

Jake and Dubas already have the extension worked out. But in order to maximize the return, they're both acting like he's not coming back to you drive up his trade price.

Jake gets to take a stab a Cup this year, then comes back to the Pens the first day of free agency and the Pens have some extra assets to try to help them win...more.

Saw this with the Yankees, traded Chapman to Cubs got back Torres who was top 10 prospect at the time, Chap signed back that winter

Philips is 5'8 and 160lbs

Sheary is 5'8 and 179lbs

Who's been smaller than that? Am I forgetting anyone?

Apparently it becomes a 2026 3rd round pick if he scores 6 goals the rest of the year.

I dont think it matters too much because there's little chance he does... but wtf, he just said yesterday he wasnt spending draft capital and then he wastes it on this guy?

That's a conditional 6th that becomes a 3rd if the scores 6 goals for the Pens this season?... I just read this on twitter... Seems a bit crazy hahah

I'm assuming we're going to "lose" some players and this guy will fill one of those spots. I think it's safe to say he's not getting 6 goals with this club. I have a feeling we'll be getting a few picks back in the coming weeks.

Grinder in (frank)ing knots trying to justify how he argues that we should employ Tom Sestito because Sid likes playing with goons but Sid not wanting to play for another coach shouldn’t matter and we should fire Sullivan.

I’m actually team clean out the coaching staff though.
